Conducted biodiversity informa�cs research by making a medicinal plant image retrieval system using Ensemble SVM method.

This research started with collec�ng some image data of medicinal plants in Halimun Salak Mountain, Sukabumi to improve image collec�on. Preprocessing image data. Extrac�ng texture and geometry features of the image. Designing a machine learning program for image classifica�on and image retrieval process using ensemble SVM. Analyzing the experimental results. Developing a web-based medicinal plant image retrieval system.

Machine learning program developed using Python 2.7, OpenCV 2.4.9 Library and Scikit Learn Library.A web-based image retrieval system developed using Codeigniter PHP Framework and MySQL.

This expert system developed to iden�fy Bacterial Pustule and Soybean Rust disease because both of them have a really similar symptoms, so it's very difficult to dis�nguish them.This system is a web-based applica�on that developed using PHP and MySQL.

Performance Comparison of Single and Multiple Feature on Plant Image Retrieval System Using

Ensemble SVMUndergraduate Thesis Project

Plant leaf can be iden�fied by a single feature or mul�ple features. This study proposed Ensemble SVMfor feature classifica�on and feature selec�on on plant image retrieval system.

Fuzzy Local Binary Pa�ern was used to extract texture features and Global Shape Descriptor was used to extract geometry features. Weighted Similarity-based Combina�on method was used to combine features classifier result.

The experiment result showed that mul�ple features has be�er performance than a single feature on plant image retrieval system.Program developed using Python 2.7, OpenCV 2.4.9 Library and Scikit Learn Library.
