Q: What position does a ghost play? A: Ghouli! Hello hockey families! All girls travel players are invited to take the ice for Girls Try Hockey for Free Day on Oct. 6. Players must be in full uniform. Parents welcome to help with the gear sale. The coed event will take place on Nov. 10 with another gear sale. Please plan to attend team picture day (Oct. 25) so that all players appear in team photos. Individual pictures will also be taken for anyone interested. All teams will practice that evening. We are still looking for gear! Please consider donating any gear in good condition back to AHA for the annual gear sales (Oct. 6 and Nov. 10). Items may be dropped off at The UPS Store in Amherst (6 University Drive) or the day of the gear sale at the Mullins practice rink. Please keep spreading the word on other AHA programs: try hockey for free events, learn to skate and learn to play for younger friends and girls’ house for beginner girls. You must have USA Hockey #, CORI, SafeSport and age modules before stepping on the ice. Please take care of this ASAP!
