in a high level of professional growth and application of skills and contribute to the development of others and the well-being of the school and community.
Teachers rated as Exemplary continually seek ways to serve as role models or teacher leaders.
What is a poster session?
It is an opportunity to share your ideas or practice in a 10-minute presentation at a conference or
symposium.MISC, STEM, ASSESMENT and
HUMANITIES
A poster session is generally self-contained, but the presenter is there for Q and A. This one highlights collaboration tools.
This one includes a QR code for additional information that would have been too much on the poster.
This is colorful and eye-catching, but the information presented is not so much as to be overwhelming.
You don’t even have to be artistic!
There’s no one “right way” to make a poster!
How would I make one? Choose a topic that you would like to share Create an infographic or slide, and print it out using
the poster printer. You can also print out several elements and arrange them on a poster.
( Media Center can help!) Write a short description of the poster session to
publish in the program so people will know to choose your session. Examples are on the next slide.
Stand with your poster at the conference
Be available for 10 minutes when your poster session is scheduled.
Answer questions and explain as necessary. Pat yourself on the back for being so willing
to share your expertise with your colleagues!
