Aichi University of Education International House

○Objective The International House has been designed to provide accommodation for international

students and researchers and a place for events pertaining to international fellowship, and

to promote international exchanges and understanding.

1 Hirosawa, Igaya-cho, Kariya-shi, Aichi 448-8542, Japan

○House Office Center for International Exchange is responsible for the administration of the

International House.

Office hours are as follows:

Monday to Friday: 9:00 to 12:00, 13:00 to 16:00

The office is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and National Holidays including the New

Year Holidays (December 29 to January 3).

○Outline of International House ○Facilities

Ｔhe International House consists of two reinforced concrete buildings with the total floor

area of 1,000 ㎡: the single room building (three-stories) and the couple room and family

room building (three-stories).

○Build ing for s ingle ＊The Innermost rooms of each floor are for researchers.

○Rent for International students Rent must be paid according to the stipulations of the Rules and Regulations of Aichi

University of Education as indicated below.

○Uti l i t ies and other Expenses ① Private Utility:

（Expenses according to the amount of electricity and water used by the residents in

their rooms.）

② Public Utility: (An amount to cover an equal portion of the electricity and water bills for common

facilities used by single room residents.）

③ Communal Expenses: JPY 1,000 per month

（Cleaning for communal facilities, and other expenses which are to be shared by

all residents, including newspapers and magazines at Multi-purpose Hall）

④ Internet connection fee: JPY 900 / month ⑤ Individual room cleaning fee: JPY 10,000 (Pay after moving in)

*Rent and other fees are subject to change in accordance with revisions or amendment of

the Rules and Regulations of Aichi University of Education..
