    ORDER

    Government have issued orders implementing the 6th AICTE Pay Revision as perthe G.O read above.It was also specified in the G.O that the arrears for the period from 1-1-2006to 28-2-2010 would be released on receipt of financial assistance from Central

    Government.Government of India have conveyed their decision to sanction reimbursement of80% of central share of the additionality of payment of arears for the period from 1-1-2006 to 31-3-2010 in 2-3 installments.The revised pay has been paid to the teachers in cash from1-3-10

    therefore the arrears is to be paid for the period from 1-1-06 to 28-2-10 and the 80% of the

    additionality of arrears to be reimbursed from Government of India is for the period from 1-1-2006 to 31-3-2010.

    Hence Government are pleased to release the AICTE pay revision arrears for theperiod from 1-1-2006 to 28-2-10 amounting to .79,13,35,936/- (seventy eight crores andthirteen lakhs thirty five thousand nine hundred and thirty six only) in 4 installments i.e,from 1-1-2006 to 30-6-2007,1-7-2007 to 30-6-2008,1-7-2008 to 30-6-2009 and 1-7-2009 to 28-2-2010

    and to disburse the first installment of arrears amounting to .31,02,69,168/- (thirty onecrores, two lakhs sixty nine thousand one hundred and sixty eight only) for the period from 1-1-2006 to 30-6-2007 by crediting the same to PF account for those teachers who are in serviceand to pay in cash to the retired teachers, after adjusting the income tax payable on thearrears from the arrear salary bills.

    The Director of Technical Education will take necessary steps to get the 80% of the

    additionality of arrears for the period from 1-1-2006 to 31-3-2010 amounting to .79.95 crores,

    reimbursed from the Government of India, after the disbursement of each installment.
