Technology M52 Controller

Mission Critical Climate Control

Control Redundancy means a Co-Work network is not dependent ona single designated master controller.Should a master controller experiencetechnical difficulty, the system will automatically assign another controller to take on the master’sduties. Therefore, the network actuallyhas ‘multiple masters’, providing maximum redundancy and added protection

Duty Sharing equalizes runtime andstandby time for all units in a networkby coordinating the operation ofstandby and duty units based onaccumulated runtime. This increases the network’s reliability

Data Synchronizationallows the operator to reviewand change operational data at any random unit inthe network. All changeswill automatically becommunicated and resetacross all the units in the network, simplifying operations

Expansion of Control Stepsprovided for precise capacity matching with up to 8 steps of control. This mean optimum operating efficiency and maximumsystem reliability

Control Value Averagingavoids units fighting each other in thenetwork by exchanging and averagingtemperature and relative humidity sensordata between units in one space

Sequential Load Activationprovides for a coordinated activationof components for each unity in thenetwork in order to minimize in-rushcurrents when components in a system are activated or deactivated athe same time due to power disruptions

CO-WORK© CONNECTIVITYOur controller is at the heart of all of Canatal’s product intelligence.Co-Work is based on a unique multi-master network system designed by Cantal to maximize performance, reliability and manageability of ourprecision air conditioning systems. Its six key control functions guaranteethe highest possible degree of on-site connectivity utilizing built-in IICcommunication bus. An optional remote mounted panel allows for remotemonitoring and control in a LAN environment. Common alarm outputcan be used for automatic dial-up to an emergency service response unitfor remote sites.

Intelligence Made Visible: Cantal’sM52 controller features a large, easy toread touch-activated LCD display

Easy to Use: Simple icons to allow for quick programming and easy to read information. The main display features continuous room and unit status information available in severallanguages, expressed in degreesFahrenheit or Celsius

Precision: Full P-I-D control logic provides precise environmental control

Graphic Data: System maintainsgraphic trending of temperature andhumidity dat a over a 24-hour period

Diagnostics: Detailed diagnostic routines and historic event log that keeps last 50 events stored allowing for easy fault analysis

Alarm Monitoring: Multiple programmable alarm settings to assure safe operations

Security: Three levels of security provides for the assignment of different levels of access and protects against unauthorized changes to equipment stetting

Precision Air ConditioningIF ONLY YOUR MACHINES COULD TALK Your electronic equipment comprises the central nervous system ofyour business. In some ways it is more sensitive than people. Thesecarefully calibrated instruments are less tolerant of changes in temper-ature, humidity and dust than the people who designed them. If theycould speak for themselves, they would tell you this. But they can't.That's our job.

PRECISION EQUIPMENT REQUIRES A RELIABLEPRECISION ENVIRONMENTAll air conditioning is not created equal. Offhand, it might seem thatinstalling an everyday comfort air conditioning unit is a wise invest-

ment for the cooling needsof your equipment. Butfamiliarity can be deceiving.Though your initial invest-ment may be reduced, somight the life of your mis-sion-critical room applica-tions - and perhaps yourcompany. Unlike people, machines produce sensibleheat, which ordinary com-fort systems are notdesigned to handle as effec-tively as Precision AirConditioning.

Therefore, with a precision system, you will experience savings onyour operating costs and greater reliability with equipment designed tooperate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, no matter what the season,

THE CANATAL COMMITMENTWhen you select a system from Canatal, you alsobenefit from years of experience. CanatalInternational is a member of a worldwide group ofcompanies dedicated to the research, design, manu-facture and application of precision air conditioningsystems, building automation and environmentalengineering. Canatal has drawn on this internation-al base of experience in developing its exceptionalprecision air conditioning systems. Canatal is ISO-9001 registered with a strong commitment to world-class quality. Extensive and ongoing research anddevelopment has resulted in what are considered themarket's most advanced and dependable products.
