‘like’ is an expression if we enjoy something. And ‘dislike’ is an expression if we hate or do not enjoy

something

DISCRIPTION OF LIKE AND DISLIKE

We use ‘like’ in positive form. It also

can use in interrogative form or question if we want

to ask someone

a)What do you like doing ?

b)What does he like playing ?

c)I like wacthing TVd)She likes learning

languages

To express don’t like or dislike,we can use another word for

example hate. ‘Dislike; is negative form. But we use ‘don’t like’ in

negative form, or if we want to ask someone,

we can use a question:

a. I dislike eating pizzab. She hate going to moviesc. We don’t enjoy drinking

whiskyd. What doesn’t he like

watching?

To expressing strong like we can use ‘love’. And to express dislike

we use ‘hate’

I love swimmingMy sister hate cooking

NoticeLike is followed by ‘ing’ form if it is verb : I like singingIf it is not verb but a thing, ‘like’ is followed by the thing : I like pizzaLet’s see the example : I like playing footballI like footballWe use ‘very much’ in the last sentences.
