lighting towers and generator hardware in its world-

wide manufacturing facilities located in IstanbulTURKEY , Changzhou CHINA and Louisiana USA.

Aksa Power Generation rightfully proud of being one of

the biggest power generating sets manufacturer in the

world since 1984 with the total amount of 40,000 high

quality generator sets ranging from 1 kVA to 3000 kVA

manufactured annually. Aksa has ISO9001 ISO14001

OHSAS18001 UL and CE standards for all its production

line.

Aksa Power Generation has opened one of the largest

genset factories in the world in May 2012. Aksa has

secured its place among the biggest genset companies

in global market with its new 100,000 m² factory in

China. The new factory will be producing 24,000 units

of diesel gensets annually. In addition, it has 16 test

rooms which are equipped with the latest technology

and have totally 25 MVA test capacity.

Ali Metin Kazancı Antalya Natural Gas Combined-Cycle Power Plant

1,150 MW natural gas combinedcycle power plantThe Ali Metin Kazancı Antalya Natural Gas Combined-Cycle Power Plant was established

in 2008 to meet the need for constant and highquality electricity in the WesternMediterranean region, an area which has become prominent with initiatives in tourism.The plant has a total installed capacity of 1,150 MW, including two Siemens SGT5-4000Fgas turbines (each with a generation capacity of 300 MW), one Siemens SST5-5000Fsteam turbine (300 MW), four GE LM6000 gas turbines (50 MW each) and two GEThermodyne steam turbines (25 MW each). It is Turkey’s most efficient independentpower plant among combined-cycle plants with a thermal efficiency of 59%.



Samsun Natural Gas Combined-Cycle Power Plant

131 MW natural gas combinedcycle power plant

The Samsun Natural Gas Combined-Cycle Power Plant has a total installed capacity of 131MW, including 7 WARTSILA engines (18.5 MW each) and AALBORG boilers, and oneSiemens steam turbine (8.5 MW). Operating to meet the region’s increasing energy needs,the power plant has the second largest installed capacity among our power plant portfolio.



Manisa Natural Gas Combined-Cycle Power Planta

115 MW natural gas combined-cycle power plant

The Manisa Natural Gas Combined-Cycle Power Plant was established in 2008 to meet theincreasing energy needs in Manisa, which has taken firm steps towards being a key industrialheartland in the Aegean region.

At the end of 2013, the plant had reached a total installed capacity of 115 MW, including 12gas-fired WARTSILA generating sets (8.7 MW each) and AALBORG boilers, and 1 RESSER-RANDsteam turbine (10.5 MW).

The plant is Turkey’s first engine driven gas-powered combined-cycle power plant.



Van Natural Gas Combined-Cycle Power Plant

115 MW natural gas combined-cycle power plant

The Van Natural Gas Combined-Cycle Power Plant was established in 2009 to meet theincreasing energy needs of the city of Van and in surrounding cities. At the end of 2013,the plant had reached a total installed capacity of 115 MW, including 12 gas-poweredWARTSILA generating sets (8.7 MW each) and AALBORG boilers, and one DRESSER-RANDsteam turbine (10.5 MW capacity). Having continued its generation without interruptionboth during and after the earthquake in 2011, the plant proved its importance for theregion. The plant includes a state-ofthe- art carbon-monoxide oxidation system.



Şanlıurfa Natural Gas Power Plant

129 MW natural gas power plant

The Şanlıurfa Natural Gas Power Plantwas established in 2011 to meet the increasing energyneeds of Şanlıurfaand nearby cities. At the end 2013, the plant had a total installed capacityof129 MW, including 12 gas-powered WARTSILA generating sets (9.7 MWeach). OneDRESSER-RAND steam turbine (11.5 MW) was commissioned in the second half of 2012.



Northern Cyprus (Kalecik) Power Plant

6 WARTSILA 18V46 diesel engines (17.8 MW each)

The original 5-year agreement with KIB-TEK that ended in 2008 was extended on a15+3-year basis. The plant has a DeSOX emissions control system installed. The plant’scombined-cycle conversion was completed in the third quarter of 2011. Six AALBORGboilers and 1 DRESSER-RAND turbine (13.5 MW) were commissioned.
