HOW DO WE SAVE THE EARTH BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE?

Going green is easier than you think! There are little things you can do every day to help reduce greenhouse gases and make a less harmful impact on the environment. Taking care of the Earth is not just a responsibility- It’s a privilege. In that spirit, we came up with some ways you can help to save the Earth. 1. Pay attention to how you use water. 2. Leave your car at home. If you can stay off the road for just 2 days a week, you’ll reduce greenhouse gas emissions by an average of 1590 pounds per year. 3. Walk or ride your bike to work, school and anywhere you can. Every car off the road makes a difference. If you cannot walk to your destination, try using public transport. Now, what do you think of the environment? Do you think it will be safe again? What are your ways to help the environment? These questions are always in our mind. Think about it! Think about the answers. Together, we can keep our Earth clean! Go Green!!

France

Over the past 500 years, France has been a major power with strong

cultural, economic, military and political

influence in Europe and around the world.

During the 17th and 18th centuries, France colonized great parts of

North America and Southeast Asia; during the 19th and early

20th centuries, France built the second largest colonial empire of the time, including large

portions of North, West and Central Africa, Southeast Asia, and many Caribbean and

Pacific Islands.

Everyone’s Dream city…

France was one of the first countries to create a

Ministry of the Environment, in 1971.

Although France is one of the most industrialized and

developed countries, it is ranked only seventeenth by carbon dioxide emissions, behind such less populous nations as Canada, Saudi

Arabia or Australia.

Disneyland Paris is divided into two theme parks, a retail, dining and entertainment

district, and seven Disney-owned hotels.

Operating since 12 April 1992, it was the second Disney resort

to open outside the United States and the first to be

owned and operated by Disney.

Emma Donoghue's new novel ''Room''

is one of the best I've ever read!

Emma Donoghue's new novel ''Room'', is one of the best I've ever read! I want to start by saying that I loved this book! I really did! This book kept me up all night. The narrator of Room, Jack, the son of an unfortunate mother is a 5 years old kid who has spent his entire life locked up in a small room. Jack's mother was kidnapped and has been kept in the room for the last seven years. Emma Donoughe has not made the book too simple or too calculated, it is simply narrated by a realistic child's voice and I guess that's the reason why it has touched a lot of hearts. What really grabbed me is the way the book captures the kid's mind, Emma simply has managed to write down all these sad truths about the world, about growing up, about our relationship with our parents, and how fleeting time can be, all is put into the voice of this little boy who doesn't even realize what he's saying, but we're not five years olds, we are learning along with Jack, and sometimes we're learning more than he does! Room is a book about love, the most innocent kind of love, the love of a mother towards her son and the love of a little boy towards his Ma and his Room. All the objects in Room are written with a capital letter, like Floor, and Bed and Duvet and Wardrobe, which kind of makes sense because to Jack they are his only friends in the world, and the world is his Room . You do not need to be a mother to appreciate this story, I know I would not have loved it if it had been told through Jack's mother's voice. I found my heart racing on several occasions, and many times since finishing the book I've wondered about my own world and what lies beyond it. Room is Jack's entire universe until his fifth birthday when Ma tells him that Outside is not just on TV, it actually exists. For a boy who has known nothing and nobody else, it's very difficult to cope with the truth, the book shows us how Jack tried to make sense out of this information. Jack's little world is about playing games with Ma, jumping and running round the tiny room and them screaming at the top of their voices, reading the same old five books over and over and watching his best and only friend Dora the Explorer on TV. Now suddenly Ma is telling him that she has once lived Outside and she has had a family and went to school before Old Nick brought her to Room and kept her there and she wants to go back! The whole world is seen from Jack's point of view so the book sees the relationship between mother and son. That the reader can understand, not through Jack telling us, (as he doesn't know) but through Jack showing us. Room took hold of me from the first page and never let me go until the end. This is a unique way of describing love and life told through the innocence of a young boy. I would highly recommend this story, it's one of my favourites so far. There's a quote said by Audrey Niffenegger which i think sums up the book perfectly:

"Room is a book to read in one sitting. When it's over you look up: the world looks the same but you are somehow different and that feeling lingers for days.”

School Artists !!! Jackson sent his butler to kill

Emalia and Roxy’s mothers. His garden was always full of dry leaves so he made Emalia and Roxy clean it every day. So one day when they were done cleaning Jackson came and kicked the pile of leaves. Then Emalia said, “you should be ashamed of yourself, look at what you have done. I thought that you wanted us to be your servants not slaves, so why not show us our salary?” Jackson had nothing to say so he took two five cents out of his pocket and gave one to each of the girls and walked out of the road way. But then as soon as Jackson left the room, Roxy quietly whispered into Emalia’s ear that she saw a wishing well outside, so they went off to make a wish, both of them wish that they could be Hollywood Pop-Stars. After they throw their coins, they suddenly fainted, and woke up with extremely beautiful dresses and lots of pretty make-up in a very nice hotel with a roommate named Menro. She sells world’s best skin products and does unbelievable manicure. So when Emalia and Roxy look at each other and saw what had happened to themselves, they were shocked so they drop their bags and ran out to make sure that what they had wished for had really came true.
