Empower * Enrich * Educate Change your child’s future!

At Armenta Learning Academy we

believe all students have different learn-

ing needs and styles, therefore, we work

with each student to determine educa-

onal programs that will make a differ-

ence in their academic career. We see

students benefi"ng from our small class

sizes and personal a$enon, as reflected

in our students’ achievements of one to

three levels in one school year.

Grounded in the belief that children are a

precious gi(, Armenta Learning Academy

individualizes programs of instrucon to

promote good grades, peer and instructor

support, concept reinforcement, goal

achievement, excellent academic values,

and acceleraon. By reviewing and check-

ing homework, promong good study

skills, and combining independent and

mutual work me, our goal is to prepare

your children for their enre academic

careers. Our academy can provide educa-

onal programs for gi(ed and special

needs including Dyslexic, A$enon Deficit,

Asperger’s, and other special learning

needs and their family’s needs.

With our student centered programs,

educaonal support and a developmental,

hands-on approach, our students enjoy a

variety of instruconal support and mul-

sensory, “across the curriculum”

approach to instrucon which is

designed to assist students in ac-

quiring skills they need to cope with

their language learning differences.

This supporve, orderly, success ori-

ented program encourages the devel-

opment of academic competence,

effecve work habits, self-discipline,

and self-esteem. Armenta Learning

Academy has a tradion of encourag-

ing creave and independent thinking,

teaching a strong self-concept, and

encouraging personal movaon,

while moving at the child’s learning

pace and achieving excellence through

educaon.

SUCCESS STORIES

ARMENTA LEARNING ACADEMY NEWSLETTER SPRING/SUMMER 2015 Volume 2 Issue 1

“We have 2 children at Armenta Learning

Academy and we couldn't be happier. Mr.

Smith truly connects with both of them

and has instilled a high level of confi-

dence in their school work. His knowledge

across all subjects is exceptional. He

works well with each student on all levels

and aptitudes.

Armenta Learning Academy has exceeded

our already high expectations. It is the

perfect learning environment for our chil-

dren. We are so lucky to have them in our

community and are grateful to have been

referred to them.”

- Brian Parker

“I am so glad we found you! I have to

admit that although I had confidence

in you when we began I didn't really

expect Nicholas to come as far as he

has in only 8 weeks! I am so happy

with you and your results are incredi-

ble. Nicholas was reading at a first

grade level when he started with you

and 8 weeks later he is reading 3rd

grade level books! Not only has his

reading improved, so has his self con-

fidence and he is much happier as

well. I can't say enough good things

about you!”

- Jennifer Apelian

“Thank you for being part of

James’ life. He has brought all

of his grades up—Thanks for

your help.”

- Carolyn

“You’re the best teacher in this

whole wide world. I’m glad you work

with me at your school. Thank you

for teaching me math.”

- Maria

“Dear Mrs. Armenta and Ms. Pegram,

I can’t thank you enough for the beau-

ful Mother’s Day celebraon you

gave to Lana and me. It was so careful-

ly planned and though@ully put to-

gether and it really touched my heart.

By the way, my balloon is sll inflated!

My husband has requested that I

frame Danielle’s sweet words. So, that

incredible day takes first place for us

among all the Mother’s Days I have

had. I felt very special.

Much love and gratude,

Diana”
