AlAnaam In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

1. All praises be to Allah, Whocreated the heavens and theearth, and made the darkness and the light. Then those whodisbelieve ascribe (others) to beequals to their Lord. 2. He it is Who has createdyou from clay, then He hasdecreed a term (of life). And

a determined term (of Resurrection) is with Him,hen you are in doubt.

3. And He is Allah in theheavens and in the earth. Heknows what you conceal andwhat you reveal, and He knowswhat you earn.4. And never came to them asign of the signs of their Lord except they turned away from it.

5. Indeed, they denied the truthwhen it came to them. Sohere will soon come to them he news of that which they

used to mock at.

6. Have they not seen howmany a generation We havedestroyed before them, whomWe had established on the earth,such as We have not established you. And We showered on them abundant rains from the sky,

and We made the rivers flow beneath them, then Wedestroyed them for their sins,and brought forth after them ageneration of others.

7. And even if We had sent

down to you (Muhammad) abook (inscribed) on parchment,so that they could touch it withheir hands, those who disbelieve

would have said: This isnothing but obvious magic.8. And they say: Why has not an angel been sent down tohim. And if We had sent downan angel, the matter wouldsurely have been judged, then no respite would be granted tohem.

9. And if We had appointedhim an angel, We indeed wouldhave made him (in the form of) a man, and We would havecertainly covered them with (confusion), that in which theycover themselves.10. And indeed, messengershave been ridiculed before you, hen those who mocked athem were surrounded by that

which they used to ridicule.

11. Say (O Muhammad): Travel in the land, then seehow was the end of those whodenied.12. Say: (O Muhammad): To whom belongs whatsoever

s in the heavens and the earth.Say: To Allah. He has decreed upon Himself mercy. He willsurely assemble you on theDay of Resurrection, there isno doubt about which. Thosewho have lost their souls are

he ones who do not believe.

13. And to Him belongswhatsoever dwells in the night and the day, and He is the AllHearing, the All Knowing.

14. Say (O Muhammad): Shall I take as a protectorother than Allah, the Creator of the heavens and the earth. And it is He Who feeds ands not fed. Say: Verily, I

have been commanded to behe first of those who submithemselves (to Allah), and noto be of those who associate

others (with Allah).15. Say: Indeed I fear, if

I should disobey my Lord, he punishment of aremendous Day.

16. He from whom it (punishment) is averted thatday, (Allah) has surely beenMerciful to him. And that is themanifest success.17. And if Allah shouldouch you with affliction, then

none can relieve from it exceptHim. And if He touches you with good, then He has power

over all things.18. And He is the Omnipotent over His slaves, and He is theAll Wise, the All Knower.

19. Say (O Muhammad): Whathing is greatest in testimony.

Say: Allah is Witness betweenme and you. And this Quran hasbeen revealed to me, that I maywarn you thereby, andwhomsoever it may reach. Doyou indeed testify that there areother gods with Allah. Say: Ibear no (such) witness. Say: He is the only One God. Andruly I am free of that which you

associate (with Him). 20. Those to whom We havegiven the Book, they recognize his (Quran), as they recognize heir sons. Those who haveost their souls are the ones

who do not believe.

21. And who does morewrong than he who invents aie against Allah, or denies

His revelations. Indeed, thewrongdoers will not succeed.

22. And on the day when We

shall gather them all together, hen We shall say to those who

associated others (with Allah): Where are your partners, whom you used to claim.

23. Then there will be no excusesfor them except that they willsay: By Allah, our Lord, wewere not those who associatedothers (with Allah). 24. See how they will lie againsthemselves, and lost from them

will be what they used to invent.

25. And among them are thosewho listen to you, and We haveaid over their hearts coverings,est they should understand it,

and in their ears a deafness. Andf they were to see every sign,hey would not believe in it, tohe point that, when they come o you, they dispute with you,hose who disbelieve say: This

s nothing but tales of theancients.

26. And they prevent (others) from it, and they (themselves) keep away from it. And they do not destroy except themselves,and they perceive not.

27. And If you could see when they shall be made tostand by the Fire, they will say: Would that we could be sentback, and we would not deny therevelations of our Lord, and wewould be among the believers.

28. Nay but, it has becomemanifest to them that which theyhad been concealing before.And if they were sent back,hey would certainly revert tohat which they were forbidden,

and indeed they are liars. 29. And they say: There is none but our life of the world, and we shall not be raised (again).

30. And if you could see when hey will be made to stand

before their Lord. He will say: Is not this the truth. Theywill say: Yes, by our Lord. Hewill say: So taste the tormentbecause you used to disbelieve.

31. They indeed are loserswho deny the meeting withAllah, until when the Hourcomes upon them suddenly, hey will say: Alas for us, over

what we neglected about it. And they will bear their

burdens on their backs. Is notevil what they bear. 32. And the life of this world s nothing but play and

amusement. And the abode of he Hereafter is better for those

who fear (Allah). Will you nothen understand.

33. Indeed, We know that itgrieves you what they say. Though indeed, they do not deny you, but it is therevelations of Allah that thewrong doers repudiate.

34. And indeed messengers havebeen denied before you, so theywere patient on being denied,and they were hurt until Ourhelp reached them. And nonecan alter the words (decrees) of Allah. And Surely there hasreached you some news about he messengers (before you).

35. And if their aversion is hardon you, then if you can, seek aunnel into the earth, or a

adder into the sky, so that youmay bring them a sign. And f Allah had so willed, He could

have gathered them all to theguidance. So be not youamong those who are ignorant. 36. Only those who listen willrespond. And the dead whomAllah will raise, then to Him hey will be returned.

37. And they say: Why is nota sign sent down to him fromhis Lord. Say: Indeed, Allah s Able to send down a sign, but

most of them do not know.

38. And there is not a creatureon the earth, nor a bird flying on its two wings, but they arecommunities like you. We have not neglected in the Book (of decrees) a thing. Then unto theirLord they shall be gathered.

39. And those who deny Ourrevelations are deaf and dumb n darkness. Whomsoever Allah

wills, He sends him astray. Andwhomsoever He wills, He setshim on the straight path.

40. Say: Have you considered,f there comes upon you the

punishment of Allah, or therecomes upon you the Hour,would you call upon other than

Allah, if you are truthful.41. Nay but, it is Him youcall, so He would remove thatfor which you called unto Him, f He wills, and you forget what

you have associated (with Him).

42. And We did indeed send(messengers) to nations beforeyou, then We seized them withribulation and adversity, thathey might humble themselves.

43. Then why did they nothumble themselves when Ourorment reached them. But their

hearts became hardened, andhe devil made fair seeming tohem that which they used to do.

44. So when they forgot what hey had been reminded of, We

opened to them the gates of allhings. Until, when they rejoiced n that what they were given,

We seized them suddenly, thenhey were plunged in despair.

45. So the roots of the peoplewho did wrong were cut off. And all the praises be to Allah, he Lord of the worlds.

46. Say: Have you considered,f Allah should take away your

hearing and your sight and sealup your hearts, who is a godother than Allah who couldrestore them to you. Behold,how We put forth in diverseforms the revelations, yet stillhey turn away.

47. Say: Have you considered,f the punishment of Allah comes

upon you suddenly or openly,will any be destroyed except wrongdoing people.48. And We do not send themessengers except as bearers of glad tidings, and warners. Sowhoever believes and reforms,here shall be no fear uponhem, neither shall they grieve.

49. And those who deny Ourrevelations, the punishment willouch them for that they used to

disobey.50. Say (O Muhammad): I do not say to you that with me are he treasures of Allah, nor that I

know the Unseen. And I do notsay to you that I am an angel. Ifollow only that which is revealed to me. Say: Are theblind and the seer equal. Do younot then reflect.

51. And warn with this (Quran) hose who fear that they willbe gathered before their Lord, for whom there is no protector, nor an intercessor besidesHim, that they may fear (Allah).

52. And do not send away hose who call upon their

Lord in the morning and theevening, seeking His Face. Youare not accountable for them n any thing, nor are they

accountable for you in anyhing. So were you to send them

away, you would then become of he wrong doers.

53. And thus have We triedsome of them with others, that

hey might say: Are these theones upon whom Allah hasbestowed favor among us. Is Allah not best Aware of thosewho are grateful . 54. And when those who believen Our revelations come to

you, say: Peace be on you.Your Lord has decreed uponHimself mercy, that any of youwho does evil in ignorance thenrepents thereafter, and correctshimself, then surely, He is

Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful.

55. And thus do We explain indetail the revelations, that theway of the criminals maybecome manifest.

56. Say (O Muhammad): Indeed, I have been forbiddeno worship those whom you call

upon besides Allah. Say: Iwill not follow your vaindesires, for I would indeed go astray then, and I would notbe of those rightly guided.57. Say (O Muhammad): Indeed, I am on clear evidence from my Lord, and you havedenied it. I do not have that for

which you are trying to hasten.The judgment is for none but Allah. He declares the truth,and He is the best of judges.

58. Say (O Muhammad): If I had that for which

you are trying to hasten, thematter would have beensettled between me and you.And Allah is best aware of thewrong doers.

59. And with Him are the keys of the unseen, none knowshem except him. And He

knows what is on the landand the sea. And not a leaf falls but He knows it. Andhere is not a grain amid the

darkness of the earth, noranything wet nor dry, but it isn a clear Book.

60. And It is He Who takesyour souls by night (in sleep), and He knows what you do byday. Then He raises (wakes) youup therein (by day), that theerm appointed may be fulfilled.

Then unto Him will be yourreturn. Then He will inform you

of what you used to do.61. And He is the Omnipotentover His slaves. And He sendsover you guardians (angels), until when death approachesone of you, Our messengers(angels) take his soul, andhey never neglect (their duty).

62. Then they are returnedo Allah, their true Lord.

Behold, His is the judgment.And He is the swiftest of thosewho take account.

63. Say (O Muhammad): Who rescues you from thedarkness of the land and thesea, you call upon Him humblyand in secret, (saying) if we aresaved from this, we certainlywill be among the thankful.64. Say (O Muhammad): Allah rescues you from this and fromall (other) distresses, then youassociate others (with Him). 65. Say (O Muhammad): He

has the power to send upon youpunishment from above you, orfrom beneath your feet, or toconfuse you with factions, andmake you taste the violence of one another. Behold, how Weset forth the signs in diverseforms so that they might understand.66. And your people (OMuhammad) have denied it,and it is the truth. Say: I amnot a guardian over you.

67. For every news there is aerm appointed, and soon you

will know.

71. Say (O Muhammad) : Shallwe call on others besides Allah,hat which neither benefits us

nor harms us, and turn on ourheels after when Allah hasguided us, (we would then be) ike one whom the devils have

enticed away (to wander) in theearth bewildered, (while) he hascompanions calling him toguidance (saying): Come to us. Say: Indeed, Allahs guidances the guidance, and we have

been commanded to submit tohe Lord of the Worlds.

72. And to establish prayers, and to fear Him, and it is Heo Whom you shall be gathered.

73. And it is He Who hascreated the heavens and theearth in truth. And on the dayHe will say: Be , so it shall be. His Word is the Truth. And Hiswill be the dominion on the daywhen the trumpet will be blown.

All Knower of the unseen andhe seen. And He is the All Wise,

All Aware.

74. And when Abraham saido his father Azar: Do youake idols for gods. Verily, I see

you and your people in manifesterror.

75. And thus did We show Abraham the kingdom of theheavens and the earth that hemight be of those who havecertainty.

76. So when the night covered him over (with darkness), hesaw a star. He said: This is myLord. But when it set, he said:I love not those that set.

77. Then when he saw the moonrising up, he said: This is myLord. But when it set, he said:If my Lord does not guide me, Ishall surely be among the peoplewho go astray. 78. Then when he saw the sunrising up, he said: This is myLord. This is greater. But when

t set, he said: O my people, Iam indeed free from what youassociate others (with Allah).

79. Indeed, I have turned myface towards Him Who createdhe heavens and the earth,

firmly upright, and I am notof those who associate others (with Allah). 80. And His people disputedwith him. He said: Do youdispute with me concerningAllah while He has guided me.And I fear not what youassociate with Him, except that

my Lord wills something. MyLord encompasses all things inknowledge. Will you then notremember.81. And how should I fearhat which you associate others

(with Allah), and you do not fearhat you have associated others

with Allah, that for which Hehas not sent down to you anyauthority. So which of the twofactions has more right tosecurity, if you have knowledge.

82. Those who believe, andobscure not their belief withwrong doing, those are forwhom there is security, andhey are the guided.

83. And that was Our argumentwhich We gave to Abrahamagainst his people. We raise bydegrees whom We will.Certainly, your Lord is AllWise, All Knowing. 84. And We bestowed uponhim (Abraham) Isaac and Jacob, all (of them) We guided. AndNoah did We guide before, andamong his progeny, David andSolomon and Job and Joseph

and Moses and Aaron. Andhus do We reward those whodo good.85. And Zachariah and Johnand Jesus and Elias. all (of hem) were of the righteous.

86. And Ishmael and Elishaand Jonah and Lot. And all(of them) We preferred abovehe nations.

87. And (some) among theirfathers, and their offsprings,and their brethren. And Wechose them, and We guidedhem to a straight path.

88. Such is the guidance of Allah with which He guideswhom He wills of His slaves. And if they had associatedothers (with Allah), worthlesswould be to them all that theyused to do. 89. Those were the oneswhom We gave the Book, andauthority, and prophethood. But if these disbelieve in it, hen indeed We shall entrust

t to a people who are notherein disbelievers.

90. Those were the ones whom Allah guided, so emulate fromheir guidance. Say: I ask of

you no reward for it. It is notbut a reminder for the nations.

91. And they did not appraise Allah with a true estimation dueo Him, when they said: Allah

has not sent down to a humanbeing anything. Say: Who sentdown the Book which Moses came with, a light and guidance for mankind, which you haveput on parchments, disclosing (some of) it and concealing much. And (by which) you wereaught that which you did no

know, (neither) you, nor yourfathers. Say: Allah (sent itdown). Then leave them toplay in their vain discussions.

92. And this is a Book(Quran) which We have sentdown, blessed, confirming that(which was revealed) before it,so that you may warn themother of towns (Mecca) and allhose around it. And those who

believe in the Hereafter believe n it, and they are constant

n guarding their prayers.

93. And who can be more unjust han he who invents against

Allah a lie, or says: It has beennspired to me, while not ahing has been inspired to him,

and who says: I will reveal theike of that which Allah has

revealed. And if you could see, when the wrong doers are in theagonies of death and the angels extend their hands (saying): Discharge your souls. This dayyou shall be recompensed with he punishment of humiliation

because of what you used to say against Allah other than theruth. And you were, towards

His verses, being arrogant.94. And certainly you have comeo Us alone as We created youhe first time, and you haveeft behind you, all that We had

bestowed on you. And We donot see with you yourntercessors, whom you claimed hat they were among you

partners (with Allah). Indeed, t has all been cut off between

you, and lost from you is all that you used to claim.

95. Truly (it is) Allah Whosplits the seed grain and thefruit kernel (for sprouting). Hebrings forth the living from thedead, and it is He Who bringsforth the dead from the living.Such is Allah, then how are youdeluded away. 96. (He is) the Cleaver of thedaybreak, and He has appointedhe night for resting, and the

sun and the moon for

reckoning. Such is themeasuring of the All Mighty, he All Knowing.

97. And it is He Who has placedfor you the stars that you maybe guided by them through thedarkness of the land and the sea.Indeed, We have explained indetail the signs for a people whohave knowledge.

98. And it is He Who hascreated you from a single soul, and (has given you) a place of

residing and a repository. Indeed, We have explained indetail the signs for a people who have understanding.

99. And it is He Who sendsdown water from the sky, thenWe produce with it vegetationof all kinds, then We bringforth from it the green (crops), out of which We bring forthhe thick clustered grain. And

out of the palm tree from thesheath of it, (We bring out) hick clustered dates hangingow, and (We produce) gardens

of grapesvines, and the olive andhe pomegranate, resembling

and yet different (in varietyand taste). Look at their fruit,when they (trees) begin to bearfruit, and its ripening. Indeed, inhat are signs for a people who

believe.

100. And yet they associate inns, as partners with Allah,hough He has created them,

and they impute to Him sons and daughters withoutknowledge. Glorified be Heand High Exalted above whathey attribute (to Him).

101. (He is) the Originator of he heavens and the earth. How

can He have a son, and (when) here is for Him no companion.

And He created all things, andHe is the All Knower of allhings.

102. Such is Allah, your Lord. There is no god exceptHim, the Creator of all things, so worship Him. And Hes the guardian over all things.

103. Vision comprehends Him not, but He comprehends (all) vision. And He is the MostSubtle, the All Aware.104. Indeed, there has come toyou insights from your Lord.

So whoever sees, it is for (thegood of) his own self. Andwhoever is blind, it is to his own(harm). And I (Muhammad) amnot a guardian over you. 105. And thus do We explain

he verses in diverse ways, sohat they (the disbelievers) might say (to you, Muhammad): You have studied (fromsomebody), and that We maymake it clear for the people who have knowledge.

106. Follow that which has beennspired to you from your Lord.

There is no god except Him. And turn away from those whoassociate others (with Allah). 107. And if Allah had willed,hey would not have associated

others (with Allah). And Wehave not made you over thema watcher, nor are you aguardian over them. 108. And insult not those

whom they (disbelievers) callupon besides Allah, lest theynsult Allah in enmity without

knowledge. Thus We have madefair seeming to each people theirdeed. Then to their Lord isheir return, then He will informhem what they used to do.

109. And they swear by Allahheir strongest oaths that if there

came to them a sign, they wouldsurely believe in it. Say: Thesigns are only with Allah, and

what will make you perceivehat (even) if it (the sign) came, they would not believe.

110. And We shall turn awayheir hearts and their eyes (from

guidance), as they believed notherein for the first time, and

We shall leave them in theirrespass wandering blindly.

111. And even if We had sentdown to them the angels, and he dead had spoken to them,

and We had gathered all things before them, they would nothave believed unless Allah so

willed, but most of them are gnorant.112. And thus We haveappointed for every prophet anenemy, devils from mankind and jinn, inspiring some of themo others with adorned speech as

a delusion. And if your Lord hadso willed, they would not havedone it, so leave them alone,and that which they invent.113. And that may incline to it(deceptive speech), the hearts of

hose who do not believe in theHereafter, and that they maybe well pleased with it, andhat they acquire whatever they

may be acquiring.

114. (Say O Muhammad) Then is it other than Allah Ishall seek as judge, and it isHe Who has sent down to you he Book (Quran), explained in

detail. And those to whom Wegave the Book (aforetime) know hat it is revealed from your

Lord in truth. So be not you of hose who doubt.

115. And the Word of yourLord has been fulfilled in truth

and justice. None can change His Words. And He is the AllHearer, the All Knower.

116. And if you obey most of hose on the earth, they will

mislead you from Allah's way.

They do not follow except conjectures, and they do not but falsify. 117. Indeed, your Lord, it is HeWho knows best who straysfrom His Way, and He knowsbest those who are guided.118. So eat of that on whichAllah's name has beenmentioned, if you are believersn His revelations.

119. And why should you noteat of that on which Allah'sname has been mentioned, whileHe has explained in detail toyou that which is forbiddeno you, except that to which you

are compelled. And indeed,many do lead (others) astrayby their own desires withoutknowledge. Certainly, yourLord, He knows best of theransgressors.

120. And leave the apparentof sin and the concealed thereof. Indeed, those who earn sin willbe recompensed for that which hey used to commit.

121. And do not eat of thaton which Allah's name has notbeen mentioned, for sure it isabomination. And indeed, thedevils do inspire their friends todispute with you. And if youobey them, you would indeedbe those who associate others

(with Allah).

122. And is he who was dead, hen We gave him life, and

made for him a light by which he can walk among the people,ike him whose similitude is in

darkness, from which he cannever come out. Thus it is madefair seeming to the disbelievershat which they used to do.

123. And thus We have placedn every town the greatest of its

criminals to conspire therein.

And they do not conspire except against their own selves, andhey perceive it not.

124. And when there comes tohem a sign (from Allah), they

say: We shall not believe until we are given the like of thatwhich was given to Allah'smessengers. Allah knows bestwith whom to place His message. There will afflict those who committed crimes, humiliation

from Allah and severe punishment, for that which theyused to conspire.

125. So whomsoever Allahwills to guide, He expandshis breast to Islam. Andwhomsoever He wills to sendastray, He makes his breast ight, constricted, as though

he were climbing up to thesky. Thus Allah puts ignominy upon those who believe not.

126. And this is the path of your Lord, leading straight. We have indeed detailed therevelations for a people whoheed to admonition.

127. For them will be theabode of peace with theirLord. And He will be their

protecting friend because of what they used to do.

128. And on the day when Hewill gather them together (andsay): O assembly of the jinns, you have indeed (mislead) many of mankind. And their friends among mankind will say: OurLord, we did benefit, some of us from the others, and now wehave reached our appointederm which You did appoint

forus. He will say: The Fire isyour dwelling place, you will dwell therein for ever, except as Allah wills. Certainly, yourLord is All Wise, All Knowing.129. And thus We shall make he wrong doers friends of one

another, because of that which hey used to earn.

130. O you assembly of theinns and the mankind, did nothere come to you messengers

from amongst you, reciting toyou My verses, and warning

you of the meeting of this Day of yours. They will say: We bearwitness against ourselves. Andhe life of the world deceived hem. And they will bear witness

against themselves that they were disbelievers.

131. This is because your Lord destroys not the townships unjustly while their people wereunaware, (so the messengerswere sent). 132. And for all, there willbe ranks according to whathey did. And your Lord is not

unaware of what they do. 133. And your Lord is self sufficient, the possessor of mercy. If He wills, He could take

you away and cause to succeedafter you whom He wills, even as He raised you up from theposterity of other people.134. Indeed, that which you arepromised will surely come topass, and you cannot escape.

135. Say (O Muhammad): Omy people, work according toyour way. Surely, I too amworking. Then soon you willknow who it is whose end willbe (best) in the Hereafter.Certainly the wrong doers willnot prosper.

138. And they say: These cattleand crops are forbidden. Noone can eat of them except whom we will, by their claim, and (certain) cattle whose backsare forbidden (for burden),and the cattle on which (atslaughtering) they do notmention the name of Allah. (Allhat is) lying against Him. He

will recompense them for whathey used to fabricate.

139. And they say: That which is in the bellies of hese cattle is exclusively for

our males and is forbiddeno our females. And if it is

(born) dead, then they all mayshare in it. He will soon

recompense them for their (false) attribution. Verily, He isAll Wise, All Knower.

140. Indeed, lost are thosewho have killed their childrenn foolishness without

knowledge, and have forbiddenhat which Allah bestowed

upon them, inventing a lie against Allah. They indeed have gone astray and are not guided.

141. And it is He Who produces gardens trellised anduntrellised, and the date palms,and crops of divers flavor, andhe olive, and the pomegranate,

resembling and yet different(in variety and taste). Eat of heir fruit when they bear fruits,

and pay its due on the dayof its harvest, and waste notby excess. Indeed, He loves nothose who are extravagant.

142. And of the cattle are carriers (for burdens), and forslaughter. Eat of that which Allah has bestowed upon you,and follow not the footsteps of he devil. Surely, he is an open

enemy to you.143. Eight pairs. Of the sheep wain (male and female), and of he goats twain (male and

female). Say: Is it the twomales He has forbidden or thewo females, or that which the

wombs of the two females contain. Inform me withknowledge if you are truthful.

144. And of the camels twain (male and female), and of theoxen twain (male and female). Say: Is it the two males He hasforbidden or the two females, orhat which the wombs of the two

females contain. Or were youpresent to witness when Allah commanded you this. Thenwho does greater wrong than he who invents a lie against Allah, that he may lead mankindastray without knowledge. Certainly, Allah guides not thewrongdoing people.145. Say (O Muhammad): Ifind not in that which isrevealed to me anything forbidden to an eater that he

eats it, except that it be carrion,or blood poured forth, orswineflesh, for that indeed isunclean, or the abominationwhich was immolated to otherhan Allah. Then whosoever is

forced by necessity, withoutdisobedience nor exceeding, hen certainly your Lord is

Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful.

146. And unto those who areJews, We forbade all (animals) with claws. And of the oxen and the sheep, We forbade tohem their fat, except what

adheres to their backs, or theentrails, or that which is mixedwith the bone. Thus Werecompensed them for theirrebellion. And indeed, We verilyare truthful.147. So if they deny you (O

Muhammad), then say: YourLord is the Owner of vastmercy, and never will His wrath be turned back from the peoplewho are criminals. 148. Those who associate others(with Allah) will say: If Allahhad willed, we would not haveassociated others (with Allah), nor our fathers, and we would not have forbidden anything(against His will). Thus diddeny those who were before

hem, until they tasted Ourwrath. Say: Do you have anyknowledge that you can producebefore us. You follow not exceptconjecture, and you do nothing except guessing.

149. Say: Then for Allah is he conclusive argument. So if

He had so willed, He wouldndeed have guided you all.

150. Say (O Muhammad): Bring forward your witnesses,who can bear witness that Allahhas forbidden this. Then if theybear witness, so you do notbear witness with them. And donot follow the desires of thosewho deny Our revelations, and

hose who do not believe in theHereafter, and they deem(others) as equal with theirLord. 151. Say (O Muhammad): Come, I will recite that whichyour Lord has forbidden toyou. That you associate not anything with Him, and begood to parents, and do not kill your children because of poverty. We provide sustenance for you and for them. And

you come not near to lewdhings, what is apparent of hem and what is concealed.

And do not kill the soul whichAllah has forbidden, except inhe course of justice. This He

has commanded you, that you

may understand.

152. And come not near to he wealth of the orphan except

with that which is better, untilhe reaches (the age of) his fullstrength. And give full measure and weight with justice. Weburden not any soul beyond ts capacity. And when you

speak, do justice, even if it be(against) a near relative. Andfulfill the covenant of Allah.This He has commanded you,hat you may remember.

153. And verily, this is Mypath, leading straight, sofollow it. And follow not (other) ways, that would separate you from His way. This He hascommanded you, that you mayfear (Allah). 154. Then We gave Moses he Book, making complete (Our

favor) upon him who would dogood, and an explanation of allhings, and a guidance and a

mercy, that they might believe inhe meeting with their Lord.155. And this (Quran) is aBook which We have revealedas a blessing, so follow itand fear (Allah), that youmay receive mercy.

156. Lest you should say: TheBook was only sent down towo groups before us, andhat we were indeed unaware of

what they studied.

157. Or lest you should say: If only the Book had been sentdown to us, we would surelyhave been better guided thanhey. So indeed, now there has

come to you a clear evidence from your Lord, a guidance anda mercy. So who does greaterwrong than he who denies therevelations of Allah, and turnsaway from them. We shall soon recompense those who turnaway from Our revelations with

an evil torment, because of heir having turned away.

158. Do they (then) wait (foranything) except that the angels should come to them, or yourLord should come, or thereshould come some of the signs of your Lord. The day when someof the signs from your Lord will come, no benefit will it do (then) to a soul to believe inhem, if he believed not before,

or earned through his faith any good. Say: Wait you, weoo indeed are waiting.

159. Indeed, those who havedivided their religion, andbecome sects, you are not withhem in anything. Their affair is

only with Allah, then He willnform them of what they usedo do.

160. Whoever comes with agood deed, for him is ten times he like thereof (to his credit).

And whoever comes with an evildeed, will not be recompensed except the like thereof, andhey will not be wronged.

161. Say (O Muhammad):Indeed, my Lord has guidedme to a straight path, a rightreligion, the way of Abraham,he true in faith. And he was

not among those who associatedothers (with Allah). 162. Say: Indeed, my prayer,and my sacrifice, and myiving, and my dying are for

Allah, the Lord of the worlds.163. He has no partner. And

of this I have been commanded,and I am the first of thosewho surrender (to Him). 164. Say: Is it other thanAllah shall I seek as a Lord, and He is the Lord of all

hings. And each soul earnsnot except against itself. Andno bearer of burdens will bear he burden of others. Then to

your Lord is your return, andHe will indeed inform you of hat wherein you used to differ.

165. And it is He Who hasappointed you vicegerent of theearth, and has exalted some of you above others in ranks, thatHe may try you through thatwhich He has given you.Indeed, your Lord is swift inretribution, and indeed, He is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful.
