THE IRISH AMERICAN PARTNERSHIP

It was a lovely day for The Irish American Partnership’s Annual Golf Tournament at Schuyler Meadows Golf Club. Our thanks to Head Golf Professional Steve Jensen who did an outstanding job in co-ordinating the round and the playoff. The foursome of Dave Farquharson, Ken Wengert, Jim O’Brien and Bill Terrell emerged victorious and were awarded the Frank E O’Brien, III Memorial Trophy and a trip to Ireland. A gift of $10,000 in support of the work of the Dublin Program at the Notre Dame Keough-Naughton Institute for Irish Studies was presented to Mrs. Mary Beth O’Brien in honor of Frank O’Brien and their son Frank – a fitting tribute. We would like to express our sincere thanks to our Honorary Chairman, Mayor of Albany, Gerald Jennings and to our Tournament Chairman Tom Tyrrell for their efforts and guidance of the event. Thank you for your participation and loyal support of the Partnership’s golf tournament. We look forward to welcoming you back in 2011!
