Work Experience:
English Teacher and Camp Counsellor, Perfect Language School, Selce, Croatia 2015 At this two-‐week full time role at a summer camp, I was responsible for teaching the English language to 15-‐17 year old students. I was required to plan my lessons, ensuring that they were interactive enough to engage the students. I also performed a camp counsellor role to support the students for the length of the camp. English Teacher, Bright Alphabet Preschool, Prague, Czech Republic 2015 This full time role was responsible for teaching the English language, mainly to 3-‐6 year old children, but also adults and teenagers. I was required to plan my lessons, ensuring they were at an appropriate level, coach and support students and enable them to practice their skills in a safe learning environment. I provided personalised feedback in a constructive and empathetic manner to ensure understanding and build skill. Kitchen Hand, Knox Kitchen, Dunedin, New Zealand 2010 – 2012 Responsible for ensuring food preparation equipment and the kitchen in general was in a sanitary and hygienic state. I was also required to serve food and greet customers. Courier Driver, Black Rose Florist, Wellington, New Zealand 2011 – 2012 I was responsible for representing the company well while ensuring delivery of products in a timely fashion and satisfactory condition. Bartender, The Buttery, Knox College, Dunedin, New Zealand 2011 -‐ 2012 Responsible for unlocking the bar, preparing for customers, serving drinks and food, taking payment, balancing the cash register, and cleaning and locking the bar at the end of the shift. This required a significant degree of planning and organising skills, customer focus as well as people management.

Coal Boiler Cleaner, Knox College, Dunedin, New Zealand 2010 – 2011 Responsible for unlocking, extracting and disposing of coal clinker from the boiler – thus ensuring continued operation of heaters and hot water at Knox College.
Volunteer Experience:
§ Friends of Mana Island – 2016 § Participated in a translocation project of Fairy Prion birds on Mana Island. Worked
in a team with an average age of over 50. Collected, weighed and fed birds, as well as other tasks. Taught skills to new team members on my departure.
§ Conservation Volunteers, Wellington – 2015 § Participated in various conservation projects around Wellington. For example:
clearing vegetation from near Zealandia perimeter fence, removing weeds from sand dunes at Lyall and Worser Bays, removing brush weed in Brooklyn.
§ Student Animal Legal Defence Fund, Dunedin – 2014 § Organised a club event, produced promotional material (logo, poster) on Photoshop.
§ OUSA Archery Club, Dunedin – 2013 – 2014 § I was club secretary and lead teacher to three classes of 8 students. Responsible for
