Dear Reader,

Why Alive on Purpose? I am glad that you asked. It was the beginning of2004 after the death of my mother that I realized that it must be more to life than justliving. It was during that time when I realized that indeed I was placed on this earthto accomplish an awesome task and that my life was created on PURPOSE. Thepain that I experienced in my life was going to be the foundation of this workshopand would be designed to help teens everywhere understand the same thing that Ialso realized. Understand that you were not a mistake and that everything that hashappened in your life has made you stronger than you think. You are ALIVE ~ what

are you doing with your life? How are you living in yourPURPOSE? If you have notyet found the answers to those questions this newsletter is a great place to start. Itis my prayer that it will inspire you and lift you into a world of passion. There is visioninside of you! ~ Can you see it? I can, it s waiting to burst out and tackle the worldand inspire another person to make it through its ready to come ALIVE. You werecreated on PURPOSE for a PURPOSE to walk in PURPOSE. STEPPING OUTSIDE

COMFORT ZONE?

Are you stepping outside of you

comfort zone or are you standing in a

box. Did you know that you can neve

achieve Purpose inside of your comfort

zone ~ it requires you to step out and

GO! You have to be willing to tackle the

unknown and take a different path to

see your visions and dreams comeAlive. Are you ready? Begin to do things

that allow you to tap into your hidden

gifts.

1. Join a different organization

at school that sparks new

interests. If youre out of

school seek a volunteer

opportunity that occupies

time over the summer

2. Talk to peers outside of your

normal social group (Vision

can be accomplished withpeople of similar interests)

3. Begin to work your goals and

start making the vision

happen even in the smallest

form.

Chapter OneAn excerpt from the upcoming book entitled From Pain to Purpose By: LaToyia D. Jones

My mother at the age 20 birthed a beautiful baby girl and namedher(I know what youre thinking that sounds like a great story). The truth is

the story does not start there; in fact the story begins way before that coldNovember day. See pain arrived and operated my life even before I got here. Ithad a plan, and it had a purpose. Sometimes I wonder if my parents had it sobad in life because pains main goal was to kill me.

My mother suffered from not getting what she needed or at least whatshe needed in her eyes. She sought daily for love, attention, approval andaffection and came up short each time. The by-product of 3 sisters and 2brothers she was not alone but in the prisms of her mind she was isolated,afraid, and abandoned. Her 5-foot tall stature did not allow for her to be thetough one so she gained her confidence in other ways. Knowing that if she

hugged, played and dealt with the right people she would fit in, and fit in she dideven better she collapsed. Falling into a trap of relationships that sucked allmatter of life out of her precious young body. Pulling from her the identity thatshe tried so hard to piece together, but fulfillment was unsuccessful. Reachingfor life beyond the one she knew she began to recreate a life that made her feellike she belonged. This new world was instantly shattered when people createdtheir world more dominating than hers. Her first encounter with a male endedwith her on the bottom and him on top and as he arose from his position he leftpermanent damage, tissues re-shifted and the image of a newly created personlost. Cleaning herself up from a forceful penetration she felt worthless and the

image in the mirror presented a new person.My mother was smart but still unable to use the lessons from Monday

Friday to put her life back together. No turning back she thought no secondchances. Over and over again she tried to be what they wanted, what theydreamed and what they planned for her to become and every time shemeasured herself to their standards she failed. She then decided to do what shefelt was best for her, but was it best for me? This is where the journey began,and where the pieces of the puzzle begin to fall apart, where the effects occurredand the causes where unplanned. This is when my mother decided to begin her

relationship with pain. ~Stay Tuned For More

Im Alive On Purpose

No one can say that I don't

have a purpose,nor can anyone tell me that I'm

worthless.

Even when death looks me deadin the eye,

I will stare back and say, "Ishall not die."

I refuse to let the enemy win;I fight until the very end.I will fight the good fight,

walking by faith, not by sight.

I live for today, living one day at

a time,living for God and myself,

that's no crime.

Living in a positive voiceactivated environment,

Making the best of eachmoment, I won't miss my divine

appointment.

I'm so much stronger than Ithink,

I refuse to let my faith sink.I will keep my eyes focused on

the prize,God promised to wipe the tears

from my eyes.

I am beautiful in every way,No matter what others think or

say.You allow me to see the image

you see,Now a great confidence arises

within me.

There is a purpose for my pain,

I can now dance in the rain.

I am alive and I speak life,Even in the midst of all the

strife.

I am alive on purpose,No reason to feel worthless.

I'll never be hopeless,

I am Alive On Purpose.

Pis for PURPOSEWhy are you here? What were you born to do? What is your purpose for existingwould be willing to bet that as many people who don't know their purpose that theare just as many that do but haven't moved on it yet.

Your purpose in life is what you were designed to do. It is the outward manifestatof the inward thought that God had for you before the foundation of the earth. Yopurpose is the blood to your vein. It keeps you up all night. It speaks to you in yodreams. Your purpose is the fulfillment of your existence.

So how can someone not know what their purpose is in life? I say it has everythingdo with not knowing who they are as a person. For instance; if you were to asomeone who they were they most likely would run down a list of titles they hold. "a mom, a wife, a manager at my job." Although their answer may be true it gives insight on who they really are. Going a little deeper, one may ask if my job fired mmy husband left, and the kids disowned me then who would I be? Knowing tanswer to these types of questions will lead down a path of self-discovery. The

questions will help one to find out what they are truly made of.

Now for those who are fully aware of your purpose but aren't walking in it, shame you. No really, why haven't you pursued your purpose? Is it the direct deposit evetwo weeks, medical benefits with the 401k to match, or is it fear? Are you afraid thyou just may end up successful? Does the idea of actually living an abundant scare you?

Again, I'm willing to place a bet that if we can move past fear to pursuit that opurpose will begin to pursue us. I know that all the resources may not be in ordeknow that investors pulled out at the last minute before but SO WHAT! Is it thpurpose at stake or yours? Right, its yours. With the internet, free web site buildeyou tube, and other social media outlet's you can start doing something towards yo

purpose like right now today!

My prayer is that the purpose for our lives becomes known to uThat we won't be able to sleep at night until we begin the work of oHeavenly Father. I pray that we would walk upright in the boldnethat Christ has for us. That our vision will become clear ainstructions and time lines will be granted. I pray that the labor of ohands will not be in vain nor be hindered that we may work while iyet day. Lord we thank you in advance for having thoughts of us lyou did Jeremiah.
