We use digital photography, photo enhancing software,

Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Access, and our custom

Visual Device Locator (VDL) to document any device on

your machine. You only install our DSI Viewer , which

includes your database file, onto your maintenance

computer. No other software is needed.

Let’s use the example of “A_SLT_THD_R_LS” .

Just launch the viewer and Open your customized database file.

Each entry is a different searchable field. You can search by tag name, storeroom number, manufacturer or part number!

If you have a bad Allen Bradley pushbutton you can search by part number to find every location it is used.
