God calls us to a life of discipleship. Discipleship includes acting in faith to help others in need. During this unit, the children will explore the story of the “Healing of the Paralytic.” They will meet four friends of a sick man who use boldness and faith to make sure their friend sees Jesus and has an opportunity to be healed by Jesus. How does Jesus respond to their ef-forts? How does Jesus demonstrate both the power and heart of God through this event? Join us for a real “rooftop” experience.

We are blessed with some wonderfully creative and artistic children and youth here at Imman-uel. And we would like to let them share their creative talents with the Immanuel community in a special art show on Sunday, March 23rd from 9:00 a.m. till approximately 7:00 p.m.(Art would be set up on Saturday, March 22-the times yet to be determined) So parents please encourage your child(ren) to participate and begin to set aside for this show some of art work he or she has recently created either at school or at home. See below for another opportunity for your child to partic-ipate in this show.

Finding Strength and Nourishment for Discipleship “A Sacred Meal”
March 2 – April 6
Discipleship is not easy. We need the power and resources of God to help us remain faith-ful to our calling. Jesus offers us such strength and nourishment in a sacred meal we call “The Lord’s Supper.” During this unit we will learn about this sacrament and how it can empower us for service in Jesus’ name.
