Dear Friends,

On behalf of the Alumni Association, we are delighted to invite you to Alumni & Reunion Weekend. All alumni are encouraged to enjoy this program full of Alumni College Sessions, tours, exhibits, and our annual golf tournament, along with plenty of time to enjoy good food, good friends, and good memories. The Hill is alive with excitement! I encourage you to review this schedule and make your reservations at your earliest convenience.

This year I hope you will join us on the evening of Thursday, May 31, as we celebrate the public launch of if…the cam-paign to advance WPI and the opening of the Sports and Recreation Center. An array of performances, exhibits, and demonstrations featuring WPI students, faculty, and alumni is being planned. You will also have the opportunity to tour and explore the stunning facility—WPI’s latest center of excellence.

Throughout Alumni & Reunion Weekend there will be plenty of opportunity to reconnect with friends and classmates, renew old friendships and perhaps make a few new ones, revisit your favorite spots, and enjoy the beauty of the WPI campus. The launch of the comprehensive campaign also offers the perfect opportunity to learn about WPI today from the students and faculty who make this university such a special place. We en-courage you to learn how our alma mater continues to evolve. Of course, the one thing that will never change is the joy of being with good friends again.

Whether it’s been five years or 50 since you last visited WPI, we hope you will join us for an Alumni & Reunion Weekend filled with memories, laughter, and fun for the whole family. It promises to be a wonderful experience!

All the best,

Bob Cahill ’65, PresidentWPI Alumni Association

On-campus housing opportunities are available to you for Alumni & Reunion Weekend. If you choose to stay on campus, you will have the opportunity to stay in East Hall (WPI’s “green” residence hall on Dean Street that opened in 2008). This apartment-style building has lounges on each floor, a fitness center, and a music room. The apartments consist of double and single bedrooms, com-mon living room, a kitchenette, and a shared bathroom.

The cost is $70 per night for a single room (with a single bed) and $75 per night for a double room (with two single beds).

Reservations will be accommodated in the order received, so please make yours early. If you would prefer to stay off campus, we have reserved rooms at three local hotels. See details below for the special Alumni & Reunion Weekend rates, May 31–June 3, 2012.
