    Dear Parents,

The Astronomy club of TAFS has been conducting various activities for the students to enhancetheir scientific temper and skills. Active members of the club have accomplished laurels in All IndiaAsteroid Search Campaign 2013.

Our mission is innovation, passion and total commitment to our vision of spreading the knowledge ofAstronomy and Space Sciences among the students. Every project/activity is an opportunity for us tostrengthen our belief in developing scientific temperament in children, to create an intelligent andanalytic thinking.

Astronomy Club of TAFS offers, a wonderful hands on learning opportunity for students to learnexciting and new concepts of Astronomy and space sciences. As always, our focus will be onconcepts, ideas and evidence rather than facts, figures and definitions. Our aim is to broaden themental horizon of a child and not burden him/her with facts that can be easily found over the internetor in encyclopaedias.

Keeping in view the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation Scheme of CBSE, the coscholasticachievements and curricular activities have become an integral part of the curriculum. The Astronomyworkshops for the Academic Year 2013-14 have been designed to provide an opportunity to thestudents for an independent out of the box thinking and enhance the scientific skills of the students.

We look forward to all children participating.
