The majority (82%) think that Ireland’s reputation abroad has been damaged by the recent ticketing scandal. Those aged 55 and over particularly feel this way.

Half of respondents (51%) feel that Ireland did worse than they expected in the Rio Olympics and 14% think Ireland performed better than expected.

Q3 Looking back, how much coverage of the Olympics did you watch?

A quarter of respondents (24%) watched more coverage of the Olympics than they anticipated. Females (31%), those from Munster (35%) and middle aged respondents in particular watched
