Seller Eligibility Criteria for launch on Easy Ship

Seller pick up address should be under pickup serviceable location.

Click here to find the list of supported pin codes.

Seller’s listings must be in the categories which are supported in

Easy Ship. Cross category sellers are eligible, if at least one category

is supported in Easy Ship.

VAT/CST is mandatory if Seller lists products which are not VAT

exempted. Products such as Books, unstitched sarees, cloths, bed

sheets, towels etc. are VAT exempted and do not require VAT/CST.

Easy Ship do not support multiple pickup addresses.

Easy Ship do not support API integration.

Seller’s offers should not contain Hazmat items such as UPS, items

with battery in closed circuit, Liquids, Aerosols etc.

Things to remember while uploading your products on Amazon (Oversize and Hazmat products)

• Easy Ship doesn’t support oversize packages (> 9kgs or > 50x35x30 cm) or

Hazmat products.

• Products which have weight/dimensions updated and are oversize, are

automatically routed as regular MFN orders and not Easy Ship orders.

• Products which are oversize but do not have weight/dimensions, may reach

seller as Easy Ship orders, but they will NOT be fulfilled through easy ship

and could be cancelled, leading to a cancellation charge on the seller.

• To avoid this risk, sellers should update weight/dimensions fields of each

product.

• If Seller list Hazmat products, orders received on such products will be MFN

and sellers will have to self-ship such orders.

• If Sellers wants to understand whether or why a product is Hazmat, they

should contact Seller Support team. (Contact Seller support)

• Examples of Hazmat: Items with battery, magnetized material, Aerosols

(Sprays, Deos, Perfumes), Chemicals, Inflammable liquids (Sanitizers, any

liquid with alcohol content) etc.

Settings -> Account Info -> Easy Ship Settings

Click the Edit button to sign up for Amazon Easy Ship and provide your pickup address

Enter your pickup address information. Please note that currently we support only a single pickup location

Enter your VAT# and CST#. VAT and CST numbers are 11 digit long. Maharashtra Sellers should add “V” at the

end of their VAT numbers and “C” at the end of their CST number. If CST number is not 11 digit long, append

zero’s in front.

Click on the Submit button to enroll in the Amazon Easy Ship service

Settings -> Shipping Settings -> Amazon Easy Ship

Enter Shipping Rates for Amazon Easy Ship. By default, rate is set to zero.

Order Workflow – Schedule Pickup

• All Easy Ship orders have ‘Schedule Pickup’ button.

• All non-Easy Ship orders have the ‘Confirm Shipment’ button.

• Easy Ship orders can be either ‘Expedited’ or ‘Standard’.

Order Work Flow – Package Details

Enter Package details: Invoice Number, Package Weight & Package Dimensions

Please note that Easy Ship Fee is charged based on the weight and dimensions entered by the Seller.

Suggested weight and dimensions are displayed based on the catalogue values; sellers can enter their

package weight/dimensions if those are more accurate.

An order has to be shipped in one package.

Order Work Flow – Manage Packages

Manage your Package Types option is provided to efficiently manage different types of

packages.

Sellers can create multiple packages types by saving the package dimensions.

These package types can be quickly selected from the dropdown while scheduling pickup.

Order Work Flow

Select Time Slot

Seller has to select the Time and Date for the pickup.

Seller will get time slot options for same day and next day before the cutoff time. After the cutoff time, time slots

options will be available for next day and day after.

A time slot window will close 30 mins before its start. e.g. Sellers will not be able to schedule same day pickup for

9 a.m. time slot after 8:30 a.m.

Same day pickup cut off time is 1:30 p.m.

Seller will also not be able to schedule pickups for Sunday.

Please check the shipping charge before proceeding with scheduling pickup.

Click on “Schedule Pickup” to confirm shipping after checking all the details.

Print Shipping Label and Packaging Slip: Print the Shipping Label and Packing Slip from Seller Central and put the packing slip

into the package and paste the label on the package

Invoice (Original Bill) To be generated by Seller Original Invoice has to be handed over to

the pickup associate.

In case you missed taking the shipping label print out

• Go to Orders -> Manage Orders section and look for the order for which you want the shipping

label. Then click on the order id under Order detail section.

• Next click on the Reprint label button in the right corner

In case you missed taking the shipping label print out

• Next click on Print shipping label button and take the printout of the same. You now have the

shipping label.

Regulatory Forms

As per the government regulations, the movement of goods across state borders requires the

carrier (logistics service provider) to carry and produce all required Entry, Exit and Transit

Forms at state borders. This is to ensure that your packages are not stuck in transit due to lack

of documentation.

Sellers selling products which are not VAT exempted (Books, Sarees etc.) need to adhere to

regulatory requirements while shipping with Amazon Easy Ship.

These regulatory forms/information has to be given to Pickup Associate at the time of

handing over the packages.

Check the Seller Central help page (click here ) to find the required Regulatory Forms for

different states.

Important

Don’t ship Easy Ship order through external courier service. Payment will not be processed for such orders.

Package Weight and Dimensions threshold for Easy Ship are 9 Kgs and 50x35x30 cm respectively. Packages that are more than either of the threshold will not be supported through Easy Ship and might be refused at pickup.

All Easy Ship orders have to be scheduled for pickup before the auto-cancellation day (Estimated Ship Date + 2).

Don’t ship cancelled orders. Check before handing over the package to associate.

Orders which don’t have schedule pickup option should be shipped by external couriers.

Don’t use packaging material of other brands or vendors. Pickup associate can refuse to pickup such packages.

For Lost in Transit packages, Easy Ship covers the complete Order Value. For Damaged in Transit packages, only up to Rs.5000 will be reimbursed.

Easy Ship Fee FAQ Amazon Easy Ship Fees is computed on volumetric or actual weight, whichever is higher.

Volumetric weight is calculated as Volumetric Weight (kg) = LBH/5000 where LBH are in cm.

Sellers should enter correct weight/dimensions while scheduling pickup.

While scheduling pickup workflow, suggested weight/dimensions are displayed based on the catalogue values.

Sellers are free to enter the weight/dimensions which they deem, are correct for their packages.

Sellers can always go to next step, even if they enter weight/dimensions which are less than suggested

weight/dimensions. The warning message displayed on the page is for indicative purpose.

Before confirming pickup on last step, Sellers should check the calculated Easy Ship fee to ensure they have entered the

correct weight and dimensions.

Please avoid mistakes of entering wrong dimensions and hence incurring high Easy Ship fee based on volumetric

weight.

If sellers have scheduled a pickup with wrong weight/dimensions and hence with wrong Easy Ship fee, they can always

cancel and reschedule the pickup.

If pickup is done for above case, Sellers are liable for the high shipping fee. Onus is on Sellers to provide correct data.

Packages are randomly audited to check if sellers are entering wrong data to avoid a valid shipping fee.

FAQ

No physical acknowledgments will be provided. Sellers can refer to Seller Central for updates on pickup

for an order

Seller has to manually Schedule Pick Up for each order. We do not have an option to schedule Bulk

Pickup.

Once the pickup is scheduled, seller has to email or call through Contact Seller Support to reschedule the

order.

In-case if any seller is using API integration for fulfilling their orders, they have to Schedule pickup

manually through Manage Orders on sellercentral

If the seller has opted for Amazon Easy Ship, all orders for supported pin code by default will be Easy

Ship enabled and seller will not have option to use their own courier or SPN

If the Package weight or dimensions are incorrect, the Pickup Associate can refuse the pickup

If there are multiple products in the order, seller has to make sure that the product are packed in one

package, and shipped at the same time.

We will do 2 tries over a 5 day period to deliver the products. If the customer is not available after 5 days,

product will be returned to the Seller

Pickup from the customer for returns is not supported as of now. Seller / Buyer has to take care of

Launch Checklist

Is Seller from Easy Ship serviceable pickup location.

Does Seller has offers in at least one Easy Ship supported category.

Does Seller has VAT/CST if items are not VAT exempted.

Has Seller updated weight/dimensions for all oversize/overweight ASINs.

Does Seller has no HAZMAT items listed in the inventory.

Is Seller aware about auto-cancellation and return policies
