AMC Boston Family Outings: PLACES TO GO & GAMES TO PLAY

IN THE SPOTLIGHT: August Overnight TripAMC’s Medawisla Lodge & Cabins in Greenville, Maine

August 10-14

A great summer vacation for Families! This recently renovated lodge is located on Second Roach Pond, allowing for paddle boarding, kayaking, and canoeing (boats provided at the lodge) as well

as an extensive trail network for walking, hiking, and mountain biking.

This family trip will cook meals together (meal planning and food provided by the leaders) and enjoy one ‘full service’ day at the lodge where guests are treated to a home-cooked breakfast and dinner

with bag lunches made for the trail.

Accommodations are either in waterfront cabins (all linens provided) or in the waterfront bunkhouse (pillow and wool blankets provided. Shared bath house and showers. For more info: https://activities.outdoors.org/search/index.cfm/action/details/id/111500

GAMES TO PLAY ON THE TRAIL

Would you rather….? - Eat only apples all day or only carrots? Be in a room full of snakes or a room full of spiders? Live where it’s always cold or where it is always hot? …..kids have fun making up their own “would you rather…..” scenarios!

Categories - Pick a category (foods, colors, sports teams, states, etc.) and name a letter. Everyone has to think of something in that category that starts with that letter.

Neverending Story - One person starts a story, the next person continues it, then the next person, etc.
