LOGLINE: "American Idol" meets the "Contender" as amateur eaters from across the nation square off each week in competitive "Feeding Frenzies" for cash and prizes, and a chance to be crowned America's Biggest Eater. From coast to coast the search is on . TREATMENT: A reality series for television. To be the Biggest American Eater, it's going to take an iron stomach, rigorous training and the will of a champion to win the GRAND PRIZE and title of AMERICA’s Biggest Eater . (Theme: Reality-Based, Elimination Contest) "The people on this show may not be able to dance or sing, or throw a football down a field, but they can eat anything you put in front of their face." - Bill "El Wingador" Simmons "Winning the Wing Bowl changed my life, and I know if you give a bunch of amateur eaters an opportunity like this it will change their lives, too." - Bill "El Wingador" Simmons AMERICA'S BIGGEST EATER is a new reality television show that will scour the United States in search of the country's Biggest Eater. The show will be hosted by a World Class Professional Eater, " El Wingador", Bill Simmons, five time champion of the infamous Philadelphia Wing Bowl. Simmons will serve as mentor to 12 amateur eaters as they try to work their way "up the food chain." Brittainy Taylor, Hooters Calendar Model, will serve as El Wingador's attractive co-host. Billed as "American Idol meets the Contender ", the show will feature eat-offs, termed "Feeding Frenzies", to narrow down a field of over 100 amateur eaters to twelve finalists. The finalists will then compete in surprise elimination-style eating competitions for significant prizes, and the chance to be crowned America's Biggest Eater. The aim of this show is also to team up with food banks to help feed the hungry in many U.S. cities through partnerships with restaurants and food service providers.

Show Overview: The season will premiere with nation wide auditions from potential contestants hoping to win a reservation to get a spot at the table for a "Feeding Frenzy." The audition episodes will feature a mix of potential finalists, interesting characters and those who have no business competing with the other eating machines.

Feeding frenzies will take place in 5 different cities where a hundred contestants will wolf down as much food as they can to try to become one of the top twelve finalists. Each winner of the respective "Feeding Frenzy" will receive a gold chain from Elwingador to symbolize they are moving up the food chain to the next round of competition. The fate of each finalist will be based on their performances during Feeding Frenzies. The first place finisher in any given week will receive immunity by being "Excused" from the table for the next week's frenzy. However, one of the two last-place finishers will be eliminated by fan voting. Finalists will be put through a serious training regiment by El Wingador each week in addition to the Feeding Frenzies. As part of their assigned tasks, the finalists will be charged with helping to raise money and awareness for the plight of the hungry by teaming up with a food bank/organization that donates food. Guest appearances from professional eaters, and additional challenges will be regular occurrences on the show. Participating restaurants and their select food of choice will also be highlighted each episode. Restaurants and food providers will also be recognized for their charitable food contributions to organizations that feed the hungry in U.S. cities. There will be quite a few twists and surprises along throughout the season. The season will reach its climax in a 2-hour result finale show where the two remaining finalists will go head-to-head for a final Feeding Frenzy...or so they think. The first 8 proposed episodes: Episode 1: Gut Check. In this episode, host, Bill "El Wingador" Simmons, will sift through the audition tapes with co-host, Brittainy Taylor, and show producers to determine who will compete in the first of the "Feeding Frenzies." Viewers will meet a lot of colorful eating hopefuls, many of whom will earn a "Reservation" to the frenzy. Although many will compete in this gritty, Rocky-style show, filmed on location in Philadelphia, only five determined people will be selected as finalists, and "Move up the Food Chain.

Episode 2: Crab Cakes, Anyone? In this episode, viewers will meet more classic contestants, and will travel to the Baltimore Inner Harbor for this week's competitions. There, contestants will be stuffing their faces with crab cakes in hopes to gain the next five spots as finalists. Fans/viewers will also have the opportunity to vote on two contestants who will earn the right to compete on next week's episode. Episode 3: The Table is Set. In this episode, El Wingador's final two Wing Men and/or Wing Women will be chosen to round out the field of 12 finalists. There will be two final preliminary frenzies where dozens will compete, but only two individuals will be chosen.

Episode 4: House Rules. The twelve contestants will move into their dorm where they will meet one another and viewers will learn more about each of them. El Wingador will commence with some brutal training techniques in order to train these eating athletes to be champions. The show will culminate with a "Feeding Frenzy" where the two weakest competitors are eliminated. The winner of the frenzy will be "Excused" from the next week's competition.

Episode 5: Pick-A-Team. Finalists will be divided into three teams of three by "El Wingador", and each will be given a professional eating coach who will train them in the art of chowing. In

this feeding frenzy, the team with the least amount of food eaten (per pound) will have to eliminate one player. The player from the winning team who eats the most food (per pound), will be "Excused" from the table at next week's frenzy. Episode 6: Mind your manners. Teams will meet with etiquette experts and be schooled on the proper way to dine. The two finalists who are deemed to have the best manners will also be "Excused" from this week's frenzy. The teams will then be re-aligned to three teams of two who will compete against one another. The "Feeding Frenzy" on this week's episode will be "tag-team" style wherein teammates will eat one at a time, but can tag-in their partner at any given time in the 10-minute frenzy. The team that eats the least amount of food per pound will be eliminated from the competition narrowing the field of nine to seven. Episode 7: Use The Force. Finalists will shed light on the charitable organization they are working for to help feed the hungry. The finalists will all be put through a battery of unorthodox training techniques geared to prepare them for this week's frenzy. Before the "Feeding Frenzy" begins all of the finalists will be blindfolded, and their plates will be placed on a continuous swivel. They will then be handed a spoon, and will have to see who can swallow the down the most peas and carrots in a five minute frenzy. The loser will be sent home. Episode 8: Guess Who? The stronger of the two finalists who was eliminated in Episode 5 will rejoin the competition, much to the surprise of the other finalists. Contestant eligibility The eligible age-range for contestants is 18-39 years old. The contestants must be legal U.S. residents, and must not have ever competed in a professional capacity. Only amateur eaters will be considered for this competition. Initial auditions Contestants must submit a 90-second video telling about themselves and how they plan to become America's Biggest Eater. 100 contestants will then be selected by show producers and fan voting for reservations to five separate eat-offs. A few "walk-in" reservations will also be accepted at each of the eat-offs. Eat-offs will take place at different venues and the menu will always be different. For instance, competitors may have to chow down cheesesteaks, wings, pizza, hamburgers, or pumpkin pie depending on the selected venue. Fan voting Fans will have the unique opportunity to vote contestants on to the initial eat-offs by selecting an amateur eater that they feel will best represent him/herself when it is time to chow down. Fans will also be given the power to vote to save or eliminate one of the two bottom finalists from the competition in certain weeks. Rewards for winner and finalists
