    MMTool or AptioAMIs Module Management Tool (MMTool) allows developers to manipulate the Aptio

    image by inserting, extracting or deleting new modules or Option ROMs. Users can loa

    Aptio frmware fle rom the hard disk drive, USB drive or any other storage location

    Ater a new Aptio frmware image is loaded, MMTool displays inormation about all thmodules in the Aptio frmware image, including volume, index, fle name, source size and GUnique Identifer (GUID). MMTool displays fles in all available frmware volumes.

    With the Extract command any frmware module or Option ROM rom the frmware imag

    be copied and saved to disk as an FFS fle. Extracting a FFS fle module will not aecfrmware image.

    When inserting modules, MMTool assumes the module fle is a valid Firmware File Systemfle - the developer will have to make sure the fle to be inserted is correct. The fle cacompressed or not, and is inserted as last fle in the selected volume.

    Finally, the CreateReport button allows users to create a report o the frmware image, frmvolumes, FFS drivers, sections and other inormation.
