3. Hazards Identification
Fire / Explosion Hazard: Accidental fire may cause low-energy fragments.
Health Hazard: Harmful if swallowed
Human Health Effects:
Inhalation: May cause irritation to nose, throat, upper respiratory tract andlungs. Higher contents may cause symptoms as headache anddizziness.
Skin Contact: May irritate
Eye Contact: Dust and fumes can irritate the eyes.
Ingestion: May cause symptoms as headache, dizziness, indisposition, fall ofblood pressure and palpitation.
Carcinogenicity Information: The product is not classified a carcinogen by IARC, OSHA, NTPEPA. Lead is classified a carcinogen by IARC.
4. First Aid Measures
Inhalation: After inhalation of gases from fire immediately remove to fresh air.Call for a doctor.
Skin Contact: Wash with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing.
Eye Contact: Flush eyes thoroughly with water at least 15 minutes.
Ingestion: Call for a doctor. If conscious, drink large amounts of water andinduce vomiting.
5. Fire Hazards
Flammable Properties: May ignite if heated to 266°F (130°C).Will ignite when exposed toflame. Be cautious of low-energy fragments.
Suitable Extinguishing Media:Spread jet of water, sprinklers.
Fire-Fighting Instructions: Evacuate area immediately. Flood area with water. Wear full fire-fighting protective gear including face shield to protect fromfragments.Breathing apparatus when working in smoke.
