Quick Updates

Tabling last Monday went great! We spread the word about TRIAD, and many people seemed happy and supportive.

A big thank you to Wing for creating our logo!

We’re going to begin a sign-in/attendance sheet to keep track of how many people are coming to meetings (and so we can get to know you!). The list will be private, but if you are still uncomfortable signing it, just put “anonymous” so we will have an accurate member count.

Craft Night

Monday, April 21st from 6 to 8 pm in our usual meeting location

Bring any kinds of crafting scraps for yourself and/or to share!

If you have any suggestions for materials or projects, let us know after the meeting or leave a comment on the Facebook page or group.

Clothing Swap

Saturday, May 10th from 3 to 6 pm Clark Pomerleau’s house

We will have carpooling. If you need a ride, let us know after the meeting or leave a comment on the Facebook page or group.

20 binders have been donated to the swap! We do not know the sizes of these binders, but if you

need one, let us know your size. I believe they are Underworks brand.

There will donation boxes in the residence halls (waiting for approval) as well as one in the Pride Alliance.

KD, or Ashton), and message them that you would like to be added to the group. This group is a private forum to share whatever is on your mind.

Trans* and Drag

How do you feel about trans* people doing drag? FtM as drag kings or queens? MtF as drag queens or kings? Does one or the other seem to invalidate or celebrate

one’s gender identity?

Boils down to each person’s personal preference and choice.

Stealth

Trans* people going stealth Does going stealth invalidate our identity as trans? Do you think it helps or hinders the community (or

neither)?

Again, it all boils down to personal preference.
