Introduction of Discover 2014 Hey AIESEC! Welcome to Discover 2014! This year, Discover 2014 would be held on 24/10 (Friday) – 26/10 (Sunday)! From our past experiences, the delegation size is usually around 240! In order to provide a high quality experience for all the new members and senior members to kick-off their AIESEC Journey in Session 1415, we are now looking for a committed team of Session Facilitators to work with MC in delivering such a meaningful conference together!

TARGET AUDIENCE of TMP TRACK:
Around 170 delegates, mainly newbies and senior members (Around 20% International Delegates; 80% Local Delegates) Subsidy for INTERNATIONAL SESSION FACILITATORS: HKD $1000 subsidy for flight ticket (please note that receipt and boarding pass must be submitted to CCVP Finance of Discover 2014 or else no subsidy will be allowed)

Session Facilitators need to pay for their own cost other than the abovementioned free services provided by the conference team.
JOB DESCRIPTION Duties and Responsibilities −To participate in all pre-conference meetings and full participation in the conference
−To design and deliver sessions based on the conference objectives and session objectives
−To facilitate sessions transition through full understanding of the agenda rundown and
messages of each session
−To work with the agenda manager and faci team on conference development
−To create materials for sessions (e.g. PPTs, flipcharts, videos, games, etc.)
−To create a motivating and high-energy atmosphere for local and international delegates (e.g. roll calls, shouts, Gossip Box, AIESEC Dance, be presence in sessions, etc.)
−To create bonding within the delegate groups throughout the conference
−To facilitate discussion and progress within the groups in each session to ensure messages
are conveyed and understood
−To cooperate with CC team for delivering a smooth and fruitful experience to delegates
−To interact with delegates throughout the whole conference apart from the interaction time in leading session
−To create an inspiring atmosphere and share relevant experiences (both AIESEC and non-
AIESEC) for boosting the delegates’ experiences and achieving conference objective
−To participate in all conference evaluation meetings during conference and post-conference
evaluation meetings
General Requirements
− Enjoy interaction with newbies and senior members − Able to work under pressure and respect different culture and working style − With EB experience, NST or above − Overseas conference experiences preferred

before the deadline, 23:59 16th September, 2014 (Tuesday) (GMT +8).
Ø Late applications will not be accepted.
3. Interview Details
Ø The interview will be taken place on 17/9 – 19/9
Ø You will be notified with your interview timeslot within 36 hours after the respective application deadline
Ø No interview will be granted if the Completed Application Form (with the Completed Session Plan) is not received on or before the application deadline
