AdEPT Education - Who we are…
We have been supplying Managed ICT services and
solutions to schools and the wider education sector for
over 30 years.
In our founding year, 1987, BBC Micros and Acorns were
the computers of choice for schools, and we built and
developed hardware and software for them.
In 1999 we designed and delivered ‘Kingsnet’ the UK’s
first Wide Area Network (WAN) solely for schools use in the London Borough of Kingston.
The success of Kingsnet led to us becoming in 2009 the
Chief Technology Partner to the London Grid for Learning
Trust (LGfL). This partnership with LGfL saw us design and
deliver a private WAN with Virgin Media to 95% of all
London schools across its 33 Boroughs.
