Choose a direction, is it molded or baked, is it flat or log. or is it a premed set of pieces. Get out of the lincoln log world. keep it simple. This is trendy and very family focused. What makes this easier or better than what people currently do?what problem are they solving?

Trying to combine too many ideas in one. Make it crafting your own string of xmas lights. Focus on one thing - string lights - not everything. Liked the original idea. Almost like “lego” for string lights. anyone can do it. “Pandora Jewelry" of Xmas lights. Not an avent calendar.

Take the story telling part of the pumpkin but use a campfire. wanted to see how the book interacts with the fire. how does it know what story you are reading. No smell. Loved the original poster concept of an indoor fire with storytelling. make it more like a campfire. Use light and sound effectively.

How can you use the water to your advantage (propellers, swirling) and more interactive like mission impossible or mouse trap

Power of AestheticsAesthetically pleasing objects enable you to work better. Products and systems that make you feel good are easier to deal with and produce more harmonious results - Norman

Product Aesthetic The typical person uses a toaster at most 15 minutes per day. The remaining 1,425 minutes of the day the toaster is on display. In other words, 1 percent of the toaster’s time is devoted to utility, while 99 percent is devoted to significance. Why shouldn’t it be beautiful? - Pink

As a team, making a two high level prototypes

Only 2 weeks! Start refining these two ideas to make them playable.

Make sure you understand the safety issues and manufacturing

This next one is a team grade, the entire team gets the same grade.

Wednesday’s class is for planning in Bruininks 114

Before Wednesdaycarefully read the feedback for both concepts on your team (someone should consolidate the feedback)
