Procedures:

1. Have students create their own text message about the assigned task. Tell them to use the text lingo in doing this.

2. Exchange messages. Have them transcribe the message accurately.

3. Aside from speed, consider the accuracy of the message.

4. Have them compare each other’s output.

5. Reward the group with the accurate answer.

GAME MECHANICS

This game can be played by partners (or group). The first person will think of a word (or in some cases, a word is given to him/her). The second person will supply clues that will narrow down the possibilities of guessing the correct word. The first person will only answer YES, NO, MAYBE. The game will end if the second person mentioned the correct exact term. The quickest pair/group to guess will win the game.
