Overview :

On the occasion of 44th National Day Celebration Carillion Alawi hosted many events on

18th November 2014 for providing better prospects for our people .

The Omani traditional souq was organised by our National employees and various

historical and traditional items showcased on 15 different stall s at Muscat Regional Office

,which included several sections for incense, perfumes, frankincense,

Massar,Koma,khanjer , ornaments and food court. Food dishes sold on the souq were

prepared by our lady Omani employees and specially made Omani arries (mix of wheat

flour, Ghee, chicken, cashew nut) attracted many.

Omani employees sang National Anthem. Thereafter the souq was opened by Mr. Abdulla Sarhan (Business

Development Manager) by cutting the ribbon. Mr. Khalid Nawaz(Finance Director – Carillion MENA) was our guest for

this occasion.

Mr. Andy Jones (Managing Director – Carillion MENA) delivered special speech following by the cake cutting of the

national day celebration. Mr. Mike Robertson (IMS Director – Carillion MENA) was also present on this occasion.

To support sustainable communities the fund raised through the souq event will be donated to the community charity at

Muscat

As part of the National Day Celebration, Cricket Tournament was conducted for employees including Omran, SSHI and

BEC at Oman convention and Exhibition project .

Al Baleed resorts Salalah project conducted Blood donation and Beach cleanup campaign as part of National Day

Celebrations.

The basic purpose of the exhibition was charity . All the profit of the exhibition will be donate to the

charity . Many thanks for all the staff ,labour and drivers

who contribute in this event

We have distributed around 600 chocolates to Al Dariz School and spent some time there with children and teachers.
