• Delivery in London for Londoners (rather than tourists or short-term visitors)

• Use sport/physical activity

• 51% of people will be inactive

• Safeguarding

• Use grant for revenue costs

• Apply for up to £5,000 • Apply for between £25,000 – 75,000

If you are applying as an un-constituted group or individual, you must have a letter of support from an organisation that can accept the funds on your behalf

• We are deeply invested in growing physical activity opportunities across all 33

London boroughs.

• We have access to and are trusted by our wide network of partners in the

sector and beyond.

• We understand physical activity and sport in London. London Sport is the body

that pulls the sport and physical activity networks together in London. We have

specialist staff working in the areas of Children & Young People, Disability, Insight,

Funding, Physical Activity & Health, Technology and Workforce.

• We have a range of relevant research and insight competencies and analytical

tools at our disposal, including a wide network of trusted research associates

with high levels of experience and wide-ranging skill-sets.

What we do within each Local

Authority?

• Our Communications Team are helping the Mayor of London’s Community Sports

Team promote and publicise the Fund.

• Our dedicated Relationship Management (RM) Team can offer advice and support

on your applications.

• Our separate Grants & Governance Team will score completed applications

alongside the Mayor of London’s Community Sports Team to inform the Panel’s

decision.

• Our Specialist Advisor for Funding will be part of the Active Londoners Panel.
