DESCRIPTION

Olaf Janssen lecturing for the course "Digital Access to Cultural Heritage" at Leiden University, the Netherlands, 3-3-2011In this humurous presentation I give an overview of the history of digital services in the National Library of the Netherlands (KB), and the internal & external problems the current KB services infrastructure is faced with. I present 4 different solutions to these problems. Using the BMICE-model (www.bmice.nl), I how heritage institutions can add value to their services.
