Adjunct Faculty Process/ Automation Purpose:
Create opportunities for Associates/leaders to contribute towards learning in the
identified avenues
Bridge the gap and connect the experts of Business units and TLS, to co-create a Learning eco-
system for achieving the Organization Vision.
Enable Learning from the experts thereby gaining practical insights to enhance associate
competence and ensure best practices are proliferated.
1. Who is Adjunct Faculty?
Adjunct faculty is an associate from any department, other than learning, who conducts/facilitates face-to-
face or virtual training session on requirement.
Note: To know the selection criteria, incentive and reimbursement details, refer Training Contribution
Guideline available on BMS portal.
2. Scope of Adjunct Faculty?
Scope of work for adjunct faculty is as follows:
Creation of Courseware
Review of Courseware
Assessment/Exams Development
Review of Assessments/Exams
Creation/Evaluation of POCs/Case studies
Designing indicators for competencies
Training Delivery Incentive for contribution
Incentive will be provided to associates from grade U1 to U4 for learning contribution. It will be
processed on monthly basis.
For grade P1 and above monetary incentive is not applicable, as their contribution is considered
towards completion of the ‘Training Contribution’ KRA.

Following is the guideline for providing learning incentive:
Description
Amount
Associates contributing to learning from India
or outside India but receiving salary in INR
Rs. 500/- for contributing up to half day (4
hours) training
Rs. 1000/- for contributing to full day (> 4
hours and up to 8 hours) training
Associates contributing to training outside India
and receiving salary other than INR
50 USD for contributing up to half day (4
hours) training
100 USD for contributing to full day (> 4 hours and up to 8 hours) training.
Note: When multiple faculties conduct one training program, incentive will be provided on pro-rated basis.
Exclusion:
An associate with following conditions will not be eligible for incentive:
On business wait.
Working in departments where training is one of the core or expected deliverables (Ex- CDGs and
competency units, QWAY, HR, TLS etc.)
Contributing towards Project Internal Trainings
Presenting / preparing white paper
Contributing to KEE portal
Contributing outside TechM
Participating in Campus Connect and industry visits etc.
Note:
An associate serving the notice period will be entitled to incentive if his/ her final payment process
has not been completed.

All associates of band P1 and P2 will receive system generated mails, on KRA and Avenues for Contribution.
While U Band associates can contribute voluntarily. Once you are ready to contribute, click the URL
mentioned in mail or follow the below steps.
3. Contribution Process
Follow the below steps to submit your Contribution;
1. From MyBeatPlus, click the EASY button and then select iLearn.
iLearn home page appears.
2. Click the My Learning tab.

Learning KRA Summary page appears.
3. Select Learning Contribution from the left menu.

Learning Contribution Page appears as below. It has two sections, Contribution History and Area of
Contribution.

Contribution History section displays an associate’s contribution with Target Vs Actual and
contribution details for Current Financial Year.
4. From Area of Contribution section, select the appropriate Competency Category as
Delivery/Domain /Technology.
Learning teams create course ware / eLearning material/assessments / competency indicators for
various trainings Offerings. To make these artifacts application oriented, the learning teams
frequently requires experts in the particular technology/domain/delivery to support them in building
required assets.
Note: Competency Category is the area in which you can contribute.

5. Select the Competency Sub Category.
Once Associates selects relevant competency in which he/she wish to contribute between
Technology/Domain/Delivery, next step they need to choose relevant Sub-category listed.
E.g. if associate has selected Competency – as Technology, Sub-Category options would be as listed in the
below screen shot.

Once Category and Sub-category is selected, relevant avenues will be made available,
Select the appropriate Contribution Avenues listed below:
An associate has an option to choose any one avenue based on their area of interest.

For Training Delivery – Further input on Mode of delivery, Duration, Expected Month of contribution need to be added in addition to other options which are common for other avenues. Selection criteria for conducting face to face (Classroom) or Virtual means:
An associate contributing for the first time, selection is based on screening of the profile, evaluation by the learning team, stakeholders from delivery and reference from senior managers.
An associate contributing to training subsequently, selection is based on participant’s feedback of previous (up to two) sessions.
Associate competing “Train the Trainer “successfully as applicable
6. Once Associate selects the Avenue of contribution, they need to choose Select either Existing
Offerings or High Priority Needs or Self-Initiated option to contribute.
See Figure 6.
Note:
Existing Offerings are Trainings offered by TLS
High Priority Needs are placed by TLS Stream Owners based on IBU requirements, Competency
development plans, emerging trends in which they need support from experts, which need
immediate attention against each Category & Sub-Category. Wherever we do not have High

Priority Needs there you will have option appearing as “Not Applicable”
Self-Initiated Topic (trainings which are not listed in Existing offerings or High Priority needs), this
option is provided only for the Training Delivery Avenue.

7. Based on your selection, List of Offerings populated in drop down list, choose the appropriate one.
8. Enter Remark, if you have.
9. Click Submit button.
Based on your selection mail gets triggered to respective stakeholders. These are described as below.
Stake holders (for all Avenues of Contribution):
Learning Consultant, Stream Owner, Learning Officer (As per iLearn), Associate and their Reporting Manager (for all the Avenues)
Stream Owner within 3 Business Days need to connect and decide on the Target Date and deliverable about which associates has expressed - communicate the same to the associate and further evaluate and close the transaction by providing the contribution credit
Stake holders (for Trg Delivery Option):
Learning Consultant, Learning Officer, Stream Owner (As per iLearn), Associate and their Reporting Manager (identified from each Location – based on location LO name will be chosen).
Learning Officer Identified :
within 3 Business Days need to connect with contributor and decide on the Target Date and Training to be delivered (details of intervention, Target audience (Org, BU, particular group)to be decided and published in consultation with SO (wherever applicable)
roll out the interventions in line with CEP guidelines (especially on planning, execution, including Faculty evaluation) - communicate the outcome to all the stake holders and further upload the data on the tool and close the transaction, providing the credit
