What will we talk about?

• An often neglected meeting by Scrum teams,

• A fun workshop which involves everyone,

• A strong media to make an impression, leading to action and improvement

What is a Retrospective?

• According to Scrum, it is a 3-hour meeting for a monthly Sprint,

• Team auto-inspection, key points and impediments identification,

• Amelioration plan creation and activation:– Definition of Done,– Team and personal development,– Environment, organisational stuff, practices…

Why so little improvements?

• The team not deciding itself, for itself,

• Too much focus on the goal, not enough on the process to reach it,

• No allowed room, nor time for actions (really?),

• Efforts and achievments not being valorized,

• Would you like to share your experience?

This is

not

my company!

REALITY? ILLUSION? MARKETING?

OR THE NEXT SLIDES?

Step 3: Formulation

• Pick a meaningful picture together: – A representation outside IT, in a familiar

environment, with everyday characters…

• Decide the title:– A synonym, some quality or weakness, what

that makes you think about…

• Write a description: – The given feeling with a hint of self-mockery,

what would allow you to solve the problem…

Step 5: Appropriation and Resolution

• Show and communicate– Make the problem transparent

• React and discuss the topic– It is dealt with, inspected and not hidden

• Get in your hands and act– Amelioration is inevitable, resistance is futile, to go

ahead!

• Resolve it for the next workshop or retrospective, reevaluate
