14th July: From tree to spoonLearn how to select and process green wood sustainably and use green woodtools to make a spoon. A very relaxed day spent in the lovely Alvecote Woods.

16th June: How to prepare and manage a camp fire.Spend the day at Alvecote wood and learn the basic techniques of lighting andmanaging a camp fire. You will learn how to select appropriate wood forburning, useful ways of lighting your fire from both natural and man-madesources and learn simple cooking techniques on the open fire.

18th May: Using tools and working with green wood.A whole day spent looking at the basic principles of green wood working. Wewill show you how to select and harvest green wood in a sustainable way, usetools to turn your piece of wood into a useful and interesting object. Examplesinclude mallets, books, wind chimes and musical Instruments
