Objective

• To understand district potential in terms of crop acreage, molecule wise, mandi wise and volume wise.

Overview of Pesticide Industries.1 India ranks third in the world in Pesticide

consumption.2 The indian pesticide company is the 12th largest in

the world.3 India produces 90,000 metric tonnes of pesticide a

year.4 Till today 144 pesticide molecule are registered in

India.5 There are around 400 manufacturing units involved

in the production of pesticides and their formulations.

execellence.- Mission: Life enrichment through science.• Company Objective :-1. Serve the Indian farming community with safer,

of Dhanuka Group, was aquired as sick unit in 1980 with a meagre sale turnover of 17 million INR, is today a unit of over 900 million INR.

5 Dhanuka Pesticide Ltd. (DPL), was incorporated as a public limited company under Indian Company Act 1956 in the year 1985.

6 In 1984 Group established a R & D unit named Dhanuka Agriculture Research Centre (DARC), to carry out in house field research in process development. DARC is recognised development ministry of science and technology , Govt. of India.
