If not specialising and also targeting the most competitive universities choose TWO from:

Biology, Chemistry, Economics, English, Geography, History, the Languages, Maths, Physics or Politics.

Other subjects are absolutely fine as part of an overall combination – don’t think you shouldn’t do them, even if you are in this category.
