AVENUE MONTAIGNE The Fragrance of the Paris boulevard

I learned about Brecourt fragrances recently thorough theannouncement of the SMELL FESTIVAL 2011 that was held in Bologna,Italy. There was a listing of perfumers who were presenters for thishigh-end scent event and Emilie Bouge, founder and perfumer ofBRECOURT located in Paris was one of them , BRECOURT has amassive worldwide following since its debut in 2010. Thissophisticated niche perfumery has its own personality and stylethat appeals to both men and women.

Emilie is a graduate of ISIPCA, school of perfumery but this is nosurprise because she comes from a family of perfumers. Justbefore launching BRECOURT, Emilie worked as a perfumer atCharabot in Grasse and produced world acclaim for fragrances suchas Cathy Guetta Ibiza for Her (2004), Clarins Par Amour Tonjours(2005), Esteban Orientalissime (2008), Currara Antidote (2009),Salvador Dali Little Kiss Cherry for Her (2009) and Isabel DerroisneGandali (2009).

BRECOURT also has a co-founder which is her sister, Marie-Eugenie Bouge who has made this company into a stylish and"fashion house of perfumery" by acting as the Artistic Director.

I encountered one of the fragrances from this magnetic line ofa bold black and white theme coloring with AVENUE MONTAIGNE.

This inspiration behind AVENUE MONTAIGNE is dedicatedto influential women of Frenchcouture who set the stage for lights,camera and action every time theywalk the Paris fashion boulevard ofAvenue Montaigne.

The actual AvenueMontaigne boulebard inParis is home to the top Frenchfashion designers such as Dior,Vuitton, Chanel and manymore.

AVENUE MONTAIGNE is achypre floral/fruity fragrancefor women that burst into amagnificent burst of sweet fruitwith notes of white floral and itbends its respect to the woodynotes. I love the raspberrythat pops up over time while

wearing it. It gives a juicy waft of energy to help keep steppinghigh in those Christian Louboutin shoes.

AVENUE MONTAIGNE lasts forhours and after five hours it simmersdown to a hush environment with thepatchouli and peach fusion silentlydancing the night away.

The word "belles lettres" is a French phrase meaning"beautiful or "fine writing. Since this is a term todescribe a category of writing, this will pertain to mypassion about fragrances. I will write about the finestand luxurious perfumes, the perfumers and thebackground of perfume shops/houses and FEATUREARTICLES that are relevent to the featured perfumer orhouse. My newsletter will eventually have a HALL OFFAME category, The "Oscars"of perfumery". This will bemy version of the FIFI AWARDS and THE ACADEMYOF MOTION PICTURES ARTS AND SCIENCES. It willhave a permanent place place of honor just like MuseeDu Lourve (Lourve Museum) in Paris has of finepainting and antiquities.
