• Mengklasifikasikan orang menjadi 4 tipe utama:– Extrovert/Introvert (E or I) = ektrovert/introvert

– Sensing/Intuitive ( S or N) = tajam/intuitif

– Thinking/ Feeling (T or F) = pemikir/perasa

– Perceiving/Judging (P or J)= memahami/menilai

• Klasifikasi tersebut kemudian dikombinasikan kedalam 16 tipe kepribadian
