Bid Documents (Terms & Conditions) 1. General
Sealed bids are invited from interested parties/firms holding NTN registration, for auction of obsolete/ old furniture & fixture, and Air conditioners window type on "As is where is lump sum basis" lying at NHA Store Chakri and DD (maint) office Rawalpind i.
2. Procedure for Submission of Bids:
i. Bidding Documents which include detail of Auctionable • store items
(Annexure-A)and Bid Application Form (Annexure-B) can be obtained frohi
the office of undersigned on any working day during office hours on
submission of a written request along with payment of Rs.500/- (Non-
Refundable) in favour of NHA.
ii. Bid complete in all respect should reach in the office of Director (Estab) on or
before July, 2017 at 1100 Hrs which shall be opened by respective
Committee on the same day at 1130 Hrs in the presence of representatives of
bidders.
3. Inspection of Auctionable store items: The interested bidders may inspect the items on any working day during office hours at NHA Chakri Stores. No conveyance facility shall be provided by NHA.
4. Bid Evaluation Criteria: The Bids shall be evaluated on the basis of competitive offers. Therefore, all bidders are required to offer bids complete in all respect and incomplete documentation will lead to disqualification of the bidder.
5. Security Deposit: The firms are required to submit pay order equal to 25% of total bid cost in favour of National Highway Authority as "Security Deposit". The same shall be released immediately to the bidders who fail to win the bid. The Security deposit of three highest bidders shall be retained with the authority till finalization of auction process. Bids without security deposit shall be declared "Non Responsive".

6. About Pedestrian Bridge:
The rates for pedestrian bridge are to be quoted in per KG. However, the successful bidder shall be responsible for its dismantling and arrangements of its actual weight at his own expense/cost. The approximate weight of pedestrian bridge is 31 Ton but the bidder will be bound to make payment according to the actual weight to be carried out in the presence of auction committee.
7. Acceptance/Rejection of Bids.
On the basis of evaluation, the successful bidders will be informed accordingly with intimation to others the grounds for rejection of their bids.
8. Mode of Payment
After completion of auction process, the successful bidder shall be bound t o clear all dues and payments before taking over the assets. All transactions should be made in shape of pay order in favour of National Highway Authority. Applicable Government Taxes shall be born/paid by the successful bidders.
() Disqualification:
Incomplete documentation shall lead to disqualification of bid. Moreover, wrong information shall make the firm liable for debarring from this as well as hiturp contracts in NHA even after finalization of process.
10. Documents to be attached:
The didders are required to submit following documents with their bids:
i. Prescribed Bid Application Form duly completed and signed.
ii. Pay Order equal to 25% of total bid cost in favour. of National Highway Authority as "Security Deposit".
iii. Attested copies of valid NTN registration certificates (if any)
iv. Attested copy of CNIC of the bidder.
11. National Highway Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids as per PPRA Rules.
