BIOMETRIC FINGERPRINT BASED BANK LOCKER
APPLICATION SYSTEM
ABSTRACT
AIM:
The main objective of this project is to develop an embedded system based access control for
bank locker by using fingerprints as authentication.
IMPLEMENTATION:
This project is implemented on an 8051 based At89s52 developed board interfaced with
fingerprint scanner, Relay, and LCD for display purpose.

POWER SUPPLY:
DESCRIPTION:
Working principle of our project is we will store all the peoples finger prints in the
reader which is having the capability to store 1000 finger prints. The persons who will come and
put their fingers on to the reader will be given access if that persons finger print is already
recorded, will be rejected if not stored.
Whenever the user enters into bank and wants to open his locker he puts his finger on to
the reader where we kept our embedded board attached with the reader. Whenever the persons
finger is valid then our embedded systems board will be automatically gives the permission to
that person to open the locker if the persons finger print is not there at our readers memory no
way the access will be given. Even to close the locker also he should has to keep his finger onto
the reader and close the lock.
The system can work standalone and can also be integrated to a computer using RS-232
port. The complete code for the embedded system is going to be developed using embedded C-
Language.
