Excess fluid loss along with loss of essential minerals results in dehydration.

It is influenced by age, sex, height and weight.

Approx. 45-60% - women 50-65% - men of their total body weight.

Visceral fat / abdominal fat is a type of fat that exists in the abdomen and surrounds the internal organs.

It is different from sub-cutaneous fat which builts up under the skin.

Sub-cut.fat has less negative impact on health.

Though visceral fat is possible to lose, it requires larger commitment.

It is the circumference of waist to that of hips.

Based on WHR,our body is divided into normal,pear shaped,or apple shaped.

Apple shaped people tend to gain weight mostly in the abdomen.They are at increased risk of health problems associated with obesity.

Pear shaped people tend to gain weight in hips and buttocks. Even they should keep their weight within normal limits to avoid health problems.
