How easy is it misunderstand the body language of someone from a

different culture?

The European body language.(GROUP 1)

The Eastern body language.(GROUP 2)

If you are interested in body language of Europe countries you are Group 1.

If you are interested in body language of Eastern countries you are Group 2.

Task for the European body

language group.Make a questionnaire among your classmates, friends, relatives. Ask

them:

• Do the European use gestures to communicate different messages?

• What gestures do the European use?

• What problems arise due unawareness of other culture’s body language?

• Use for publishing manuals, brochures:

“Tips to Improve Communication Skills”
