Find these things – Do these things:

If you do not have a G+ account, sign in with Gmail and then follow the process I outlined

Go to google.com/dashboard and explore

On G+ click left side icons

More dots… for icons – move them into column

Put keyword in G+ Search bar and view results

Home Exploration

Gear icon – check Settings

Click other Circle buttons to change news feed

Find slider and make adjustments

“Share what’s new…” and select Public

Click all the tabs and see what’s there

Click the About tab and then Edit Profile

Click dropdown and then Account to view entire Google account then click Google+ for specifics

Put “Phyllis Khare” in Search field and then Add me to a Circle

Drag Circles into top section

Notice icons in place where Circle was; Edit Share Delete

Type a name in Circle Search field

Double-click person to view Profile

Hover over name and notice highlight

Click the Events icon – notice sections

Click this Event and click Add Photo

Click Create Event and test it out

Click Find More Events

Click View your Calendar and look for little images on the corner of events – hover/click

Hangouts Exploration

Click the Hangout icon and explore the Live and On Air sections

Click the View More link for both sections

Click Start a Hangout and notice all the sections; name, add, options, On Air, Online and Telephone tabs.

Click the Setting gear icon inside the Start a Hangout interface to set your video and mic

Find these things – Do these things: Click the Local icon and see what comes up

Click the top result – the name of the business

Look for the “Is this your business?” link

Click the Local icon again, then…

Click “View All” in another section

Click a street address for one of the businesses

When on an individual page: Click the times (if highlighted)

Click Write a Review
