Brenda Joyce Skinner,

72, of Hamshire, died Saturday, June 1, 2019. She was born to Lois Marie Mott and Clark Williams, on October 28, 1946, in Beaumont. She retired as a secretary from the Texas Commission for the Blind after many years of employment.

She was married for fifty-two years to her husband, William “Bill” Hubert Skinner. She loved gardening and mowing her grass. Most of all, Brenda loved her grandchildren, her family, and her church family with all of her heart.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Skinner, of Hamshire; daughter, Carrie Gaspard and her husband, Pat, of Winnie; sons, Thomas Skinner and his wife, Melissa, of Silsbee and Steve Skinner, of Hamshire; sister, Darlene Melancon, of Hamshire; and brothers, Carson Melancon, of Hamshire and Joey Melancon, of Nederland; and six grandchildren.
