Residents ’ Association

Some of the Great Jubilee Events Planned Come in your brightest Red, White and Blue for an afternoon of fun for all ages. Children can

arrive on bicycles, decorated Diamond Jubilee style, if the ground is dry.

The Great Britannia Bake Off

We need cooks large and small to join in our baking competition to make plenty of goodies for us all to eat. Entries will be in two classes, Adults and Children, and will be judged on taste and

decoration with extra marks for originality, enthusiasm and daring. Make one big cake, 6 fairy cakes, 6 biscuits or 6 brownies, all to a Diamond Jubilee theme. Please bring your entries to the school hall on the day between 10 and 11 am. Judging will

involve some audience participation and will be at 12.30.

Tree Planting A beautiful cherry plum tree has been donated to commemorate the day and will be marked by an engraved plaque. The planting of the tree will be accompanied by a musical arrangement of

God Save the Queen sung by everyone.

Lunch We will have a bring and share lunch set out under three large gazebos. Please bring enough food and drink for you and your guests plus a bit extra. Bring along rugs and deck chairs.

Plastic and paper cups only. No glasses please.
