There are limited options for flights in and out of Myanmar, so it

is generally best to visit Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia or Singapore

first and then continue with a short regional flight to Yangon.

have a stop in Hong Kong . They can arrive in Hanoi and Bangkok.

2. United Airlines from SFO, Chicago to Hanoi & Bangkok via Hong Kong

3. Japan Airlines from LA, NYC to Hanoi, Bangkok via Tokyo

4. Korean Airline from LA, NYC, Chicago via Seoul

5. Singapore Airlines from LA, NYC to Singapore (& Taipei for some routes).

6. Malaysia Airlines from LA to Kuala Lumpar. Regional flight to Yangon.

- VOA is not available from Dec 2014

- E-VISA is now available for many countries. Please check the

website of Myanmar Ministry of Immigration at

http://evisa.moip.gov.mm/HowToApply.aspx to see if it is available

for you and then follow the instruction to apply for e-Visa. The

processing will take around 5 working days and you will pay directly

over the internet to Myanmar Ministry of Immigration. The validity

of the visa approval letter is (90) days.
