Start with a visit to Amarapura, where the country’s largest monastery is located. Visit Ava and enjoy a horse carriage ride to the wooden Bagaya Monastery and the remains of the Royal Palace.

Day 8 Mandalay > Heho > PindayaFly to Heho, and transfer to Pindaya, renowned for its limestone caves. The caves are a Buddhist pilgrimage site and house thousands of Buddha images. Visit a Shan umbrella and mulberry paper production home industry.

Day 9 Pindaya > Kalaw > Inle LakeTransfer to Kalaw, located 1,320 metres above sea level. Visit the Pinmagon monastery. Take a short hike and enjoy a picnic lunch on the way. Visit the King church and view the colonial style buildings in town. Visit the local market and observe the di�erent hill tribes coming together.
