Upcoming Application Deadlines 2013 Summer Internship Hepatitis B Foundation
Overview:
This is a 10-week summer program that runs from June 3 to August 9, 2013 and
includes a modest stipend. Students entering their junior or senior year of college in
fall 2013 are eligible to apply.
Through this internship, students will gain firsthand experience in professional
research, outreach services, and other scholarly activities at the HBF and its
Institute for Hepatitis and Viral Research (IHVR). This unique experience allows
participants the opportunity to gain a personal perspective on the entire scientific
process: from formulating and testing hypotheses, to working with an advisor in a
state-of-the-art research laboratory and outreach office.

Overview:
Mercy Volunteer Corps (MVC) is a full-time lay volunteer program offering placements in the continental U.S. and Guyana, South America for a one or two year commitment. Mercy Volunteers serve in Education, Healthcare & Social
Services while living simply in community.
This is a full-time one year volunteer position with Mercy Volunteer Corps. Volunteers also commit to living a simple and spiritual lifestyle in community with other volunteers. All living expenses are provided. Placements are available in social services, health care, and education in 9 locations in the U.S and in Guyana,
South America. The service year begins July 28, 2013 and ends July 2014.

This program offers U.S. citizen undergraduate and
graduate students the opportunity to participate in
10-week, unpaid internships that provide intensive
educational and professional experience within the
environment of America’s principle foreign affairs agency.
The unpaid internships are available at many of the over
265 U.S. embassies, consulates and missions to
international organizations around the world, as well as at
the Department of State in Washington, D.C. and other
locations throughout the U.S. Participants gain first-hand,
hands-on experience, and learn the realities of working in
– and with – Foreign and Civil Service professionals who
are at the forefront of America’s diplomatic efforts.
