List of fluid media resistance characteristics of pumps in the Wilo-Multivert MVI/MVIE series 2.. up to 16-6 and Wilo-Economy MHI/MHIE series 2.. up to16..
This list is not necessarily complete. Data on the application limits of different pump materials when handling any of the listed fluids have been conscientiously prepared to the best available knowledge. However, the information must be regarded only as a non-binding guide to these characteristics. Guarantee claims of any kind must not be derived on the basis of this information. In practice it is unlikely that only the pure substances listed here will be contained in the pumped media. Even small additions of other matter can decisively influence or change the chemical aggression of a basic substance. Detrimental effects can also be attributed to incrustations, condensate or temperature changes. In many cases only practical experience can provide adequate evidence of the suit-ability of a particular material.
We therefore request that sufficient attention be given to the rele-vant footnotes and other remarks that are appended to the informa-tion.
Questions related to the chemical and other resistance of the Wilo-Multivert MVI/MVIE-Series 16../32../52.. should be directed to your respective Wilo sales office or representative.RemarksIn addition to this list of resistance characteristics, the properties of the flow medium, such as density, solidification point, viscosity, etc., as well as Ex-protection requirements, should be given separate and additional consideration. The limits of applicability of the pumps, based on pressure and tem-perature, must also be observed.

Bypass SetThe use of the bypass set always makes sense when the fluid contains a high amount of air or oxygen or shows a trend to gas formation.By means of the bypass set a concentration of air or gas in the upper region of the pump hydraulics on MVI pumps, and thus in the area of the mechanical seal, is largely avoided.
Typical applications where the use of the bypass installation is beneficial to the user are:Condensate pumping / Pressure boosting, where the pump/s displace water from tanks, which are vented to the atmosphere.
Materials:Pipe union MS, nickel platedSeal EPDM/Vitonall other components 1.4404
Scope of delivery:The set contains all the components required for the installation of the complete bypass pipe.
